This video is inspiring, and just what I needed today. I have a lot in common with both Randy's. Like Randy N, I have been a DIY hunter all over North America my whole life, with a lot of hard work, good success, and getting my ass handed to me too. Like Randy H, I've battled a host of autoimmune disorders since I was younger than 20. I'm 55 now. I've drawn a goat tag for some of the nastiest terrain Alaska has to offer. Im currently making a comeback from a setback - which is why I need the encouragement. Season starts in six weeks! Thanks guys...

This video really hits home for me. I'm a fairly young (31 years old) hunter with some major medical issues... Knowing how hard it is to hunt through ailments and seeing the satisfaction in this guy's face after taking down that goat took my breath away. Great episode. Great hunt. Thanks for uploading this episode Randy.

I just saw this hunt five years after it occurred, and happy to see it. That was outstanding.

Awesome hunt guys!! This video was extra special to me as my wife suffered from an auto immune disease when she was a teenager. We know how hard is to battle back from that. Rock on Randy!

I have so much respect for Randy Newberg! My hats off to you sir! I’ve been watching every one of your videos and the respect you show for the animal harvested is overwhelming. It can’t be faked for camera. You have respect for the animal and a true appreciation and respect for the privilege you are awarded. In every video where you’re not the shooter, I see you look more excited for the one who punched his tag than the one who sent the bullet. That says a lot about you as a hunter but more about you as a human being! Much respect to you senor and may God bless you with many more years of doing what we all see as a passion and damn near an obsession!

Episodes like these are absolute gems. I love these stories. Tears 😭 of joy and celebration roll down my cheeks. That is what being an outdoorsman and a great human being is all about sharing and helping others. What a blessing. 😇 After he shot and the goat 🐐 went down you celebrated like a football 🏈 coach and Randy just scored the winning TD in the State Championship game. Which in hunting terms that was similar and so awesome 😎!

@@Fresh_Tracks Amen I absolutely relate in the fact that I love helping people and seeing them succeed more than I do for myself. Definitely enjoyed it as I do all your content, even though ones like these hit home more and are even more special. Being 36 and having two open heart surgeries when I was a kid, makes it tough to do some super strenuous activities. I am still extremely blessed. But I am hoping that I can hunt out west with my bro for the first time this year.

Special hunt, friends and goat!! It is inspiring to see the effort both Randy's and friends put into this hunt....... There is nothing like putting meat in the freezer with pals, it tastes sooo much better on the plate when sweat n tears were required to put it there rather than tossing it into a shopping cart at the market!! @@ncoutdoors7396 I know this is an old comment, but let me tell you that pronghorn hunting is fun stuff! That was the last thing I hunted in high school. Nothing beats the Powder River basin and the plains around the black hills!

My grandpa, years and years ago, got a goat out of, I think Black Leaf Canyon. It was a Nanny and it was 1/4" from state record. He still has the cape and head mount in a house in the swan valley.

I wish I could report all is well. I invited him on a hunt this fall, but his health doesn't allow it. He is hopeful next season will bring better health. Thanks for watching.

I think God put this together and made sure that goat was there for Randy and the guys from the beginning If time.

Which rifle caliber did he use? Thank you for the work you do, and the film crew, thank them too, to follow you with that equipment and document the hunts, that's dedication and hard hard work, like finishing a concrete driveway up hill. I enjoy your videos filled with insight and information. Maybe you could do a follow up hunt with Randy Hodges, will be nice to see or hear whay he is up to.
