Also im new to dcs. What would you recommend to get for controls. I have interest in flying helicopters and cant because of my keyboard

I will say this, if you want to be cheap you can just get a wired controller (like x box type controller etc). this can greatly increase your capabilities, but your gonna have to mess with steam or head tracking to not have to use your mouse to look around
