What fun you had together! I loved watching you both find treasures. I'm in Whitianga at the moment, do you know any good spots for me to hunt for gemstones please? Also, you have a really nice voice to listen to!

Thank you so much !! Whitianga is on our list to explore some day soon. There are spots a bit of a drive south or north 😊 coopers beach is a drive too

So, you can just rock on up to any river in the coromandel and have a look around for this stuff?

There are many lovely (and easy) beach spots along the coast from Thames through to Coromandel. Tapu Beach is a favourite of ours! Lots of carnelian and chalcedony to be found there! As you're walking, it almost looks like sea glass. Once you find your first piece, your eyes will be set to find more! Enjoy!
