So nice to see Chris again, I'm an ancient viewer of the channel, mainly "The Game Quest". Nice to see him in good health and still being such a sweet person.

Some wholesome moments, between his brother trying to give Wood back their shared Gameboy and the store owner remembering the guys, & even giving them the old discount. Even a surprise appearance from the "nah its cheap" guy. XD

@@TheACanning I have yet to see AR glasses that sit slightly further from your eyes than normal glasses if that is what you are referring to. I assume there is a good reason for it, but that aspect has kept me from looking more seriously into getting a pair myself tbh.

Seeing you game hunting in your home country and showing off the sights & sounds of Australia, showing Kim where you came from and introducing us all to your family is so very awesome. Shopping for these kinda things in Aus is such a great experience. Everyone’s so kind and the scenery between each shop is amazing

Been a looooong time viewer, so this was incredibly wholesome. Been there for "Nah, it's cheap". The confusion of Gawler and Goolwa. VISITING America, not living in it. Finding out you worked at Bunnings where you weren't allowed to use knives, so you had to claw your way into stock 😂 Been around for all of it, look forward to many more years 😁

I remember watching your family confession video from 5+ years ago, hearing the very sad life story of a guy who seemingly had everything... and it's so strange to see some of those places and people from that story today. Dude, I’m from Adelaide, been watching your videos for years and years and years. Knew you were from Adelaide and I also know Chris (more so his younger brother Will) and it’s somehow still surreal to see you walking around places I go to all the time, and some throwbacks! Brighton Car Boot Sale? Bought my first SNES there (and did year 10 at that very school). Pooraka markets is now not far from where I live… but the thing that threw me the most was you standing outside of Signatures Vietnamese… I NEVER knew that it used to be a game shop, but it’s one of my most frequented places for noodles and Banh Mi… I feel your pain about the Port Adelaide markets, I remember buying a boxed Atari 2600 from one of the stalls there called “I Used To Have That” I’ve always lived here, and always loved living here… and yet you somehow made me feel like I’ve experienced Adelaide in a new light. Thank you. It was the video I didn’t know I needed, but it warmed my heart.

This little game hunt in Aus was great. It's shown me that we do have places to find games, I just haven't looked hard enough for them. Thanks wood, great series!

I knew Kim in high school she was so quiet.

It kinda reminds me that there’s a child inside us all- one that loves to film videos, love collecting games, that shared a game boy with his brother; like it’s fun to remember that and try to hold that inside of us :) so wholesome, I feel like Chris is such a genuinely good person/friend to have around, and I really liked the nostalgia of you going back and renewing those relationships; always love a game hunting video :)

Man, I love seeing all the smaller Adelaide stores to check out. Also nuts seeing the places that I;m familiar with in your videos again.

I was huge into the Game Quest vids ten years ago so this made my day! Chris! The old intro! THE NAH IT'S CHEAP GUY?!?! Those vids really inspired me to get out and hunt for old games all those years ago, and although I've mostly moved on from collecting, it remains a real fun memory. Thanks Wood. Also can't believe the Nah it's cheap guy is wearing practically the same thing. It's like he's frozen in time or something.

It's one of my favourite games on switch to, and I was fortunate enough to pick up that exact edition on eBay last year by chance brand new for a good price. 👌 It's a beautiful edition and probably one of my favourite switch collectors editions of all time. Ahhhh! I was literally next door at Comic-con and you guys were at the Mega Toy Faire?! I chose to teach tcg, instead of MAYBE meeting you? DAMNIT! You're definitely right about the market scene in Adelaide, it's dropped off over the last few years and it's mainly in FB Marketplace and garage sales unfortunately. Glad you guys were able to make a trip of it though!

That Australian Gameboy is cool! As a Canadian i was pleasantly surprised last time i visited that most switch games are cheaper in Aus compared to Canada. Games are 60 - 70 including taxes in Aus while in Canada most games are 80 plus tax (ends up being closer to $90 after tax). Definitely stocking up next time!
