Here’s a list of gameplay mechanics spotted feel free to add your own observations. •Otg combo extensions •Install supers •DHCs •Push blocking •Gatlings and auto combos •Conversion cancels (grey health for a combo cancel) •Air blocking, air dashes, super jumps •Overgear (sparking/X factor comeback mechanic) more damage and max meter goes from 3 to 5 •Wall bounces •Hard knockdowns (lvl 3’s can cause them) •Wake up Reversal window (implies invincible reversals) •Back tech wake up option •Movement before round starts •Super armor •Chip damage (from special moves) •Multiple assists per character A lot of great stuff in here. It will definitely look and feel like a quality fighting game if you can get over the graphics. If this gets rollback it’s an instant cop for me.

There's also Incoming, so there's going to be incoming mixups I wish the back to neutral from DBFZ became standard

Yeah, it sounds close to him but surely it can’t be him, that’d mean this game was started on before he passed, which was a good while ago. If that’s the case, I wonder if Covid had an effect on the development of the game. If it did, they still have had a good amount of time since it started, so you’d think it’d be just a bit more polished looking. Because right now it looks very basic and barebones, which it is a demo but still.

It’s no Dragon Ball FighterZ but I’ll support this over literally any arena fighter.

I'm happy we're getting a combo-based anime fighting game and not arena-fighters but this does need polish.

Definitely coping this, only problem is the roster size. Adding Yusuke from YYH and the Prince from Level E would be dope additions

All these people complaining for no reason. The game actually looks better than I was expecting, especially because the dev team is very small and has very little moneys. Thank god it’s not an arena fighter. You can tell they are putting some heart into the game. Also, the game isn’t done yet. I do wish they would make the battlefield a bit smaller and increase a the speed a little.

Thats what i was thinking. But at the same time, small team or not there are still standards that should be held when looking at gameplay teasers before release. The UI doesnt look all that good, and the sound effects are kinda jarring.

Like I see the vision they just no where near where they need to be. Looks like they took Clash of Ninja’s textures and put them in a 2024 MVC style game that’s mad unpolished

The game play looks amazing and fun and that is my main concerns when it comes to fighting games. So I like what I see so far. I can’t wait to play it.

Assuming the graphics are an early test build thing, speaking as a fighting game fan this looks like it'll go crazy

From a game perspective I actually like this. There's no neutral skip mechanic (Drive rush, wild assault, dragon rush) and it generally looks fun. Visually I'm not impressed, but hopefully it gets improved graphically before release. Also how the netcode is playable or it's a skip entirely

I think Meruem, Biscuit, & Lucifer are a given for the roster, and Neferpitou, Illumi, & Kite are very likely. They'll probably have another of the Phantom Troupe, not sure which one but I'd prefer Shizuku. Probably another Chimera Ant as well.

This is looking awesome gameplay wise. Love the combos. The visuals are still rough and it's obviously an early build, can't wait to see this fully developed and actually play it. With this gameplay, it's definitely a day 1 pick. Don't sleep on this y'all

it looks kinda cool with some of those combo confirms and the mix but needs polish hopefully they can get a solid budget but the gameplay loops definitely there

Its clearly a work in progress but I like the concepts so far, I feel like the camera/pov needs to be a little closer and the dashes need more speed on them but the game while rough atm, it has potential

Dude, it's like a wii/360/ps3 game that they just forgot to drop and I am soooo fucking ready for it. it feels like a part of my childhood that I never got to play, I lived off of janky lookin fighting games like this. and it's of my 2nd favorite anime of all time? WE WILL BE PLAYING AND WE WILL BE PLAYING HARD. I was already playing even if it was an arena fighter because I actually like those. But seeing it be a team based traditional fighter, a.k.a, the kind I grew up with? this game was MADE FOR ME
