Ahhh hisoka. He's so good when he's playing nice but when he starts getting creepy it makes me question my morals for liking him. Like everytime he's on screen, hxh gets infinitely better. The voice actor did his job like rent was due everytime.

what I love about hisoka's character is that he has the potential to be a very powerful ally but for him, everything is just business and pleasure. He spare's those who he can tell will give him a good challenge but kills people who have no potential or threatens him, Its why I never understood gon's hate towards him when hisoka has indirectly trained him and has even helped him during the greed island arc, even if it was just for his own gain. His character IMO is more of a archrival to gon rather than a serious enemy. If it wasnn't for hisoka gon never would've pursued becoming stronger and more trained in nen. my point is that for all the bad things hisoka has done, he's done an equal amount of good as well.

Hisoka’s only flaw is believing that he’s the best. Had he given more logical thoughts rather than tried to prove his value, he would have won instead of Chrollo (simply by fighting him alone rather than publicly)

私の見解ではヒソカの本質は性欲の化け物に近いと思います。バイセクシャルの強姦殺人鬼と見た方が適切だと思います。 幼い子も好きだが、その子のピークを待って待ってそのピークに犯して無茶苦茶にしたいというキャラクターだと思います。

I actually dont get hisoka's part during the hunter exam. Like when he said "you passed" to leorio & gon then he got a walkie talkie where someone told him to hurry to the 2nd site, I thought he was one of the examiners in disguise 😅 I was so confused, what was that about?

His only goal was to be a professional hunter at that point especially after his failed attempt in the year prior. He figured he can have his fun killing time since he doesn't have much things to do other than following the general rule of the exam. That's why he fuck around until the deadline of each exam. Here you can hear someone informing him he took too long fucking around so he needs to hurry up,, that someone is most likely illumi who he befriended. He never been the type of dude to compete in who's going to make it faster that's hanzo who tried his hardest to clear the stages as fast as he could yet he find himself almost always 3rd behind Hisoka and illumi. That dude is unpredictable so don't try to read him just enjoy that majestic character

I said he said "you passed" to Gon & Leorio and then theres someone on a walkie talkie telling him to go to the next site quickly because they almost arrive. How would illumi know theyre almost arriving if hes just following the moustache guy. Besides the person doesnt even sound like illumi. And really? A walkie talkie? When he could attach his bungee gum to anyone to keep track. Felt like he got that walkie talkie cause he's part of the examiner team. He even CARRIED leorio to the next site after confirming that leorio "passed" his personal test. That is not hisoka. He behaved like an examiner in disguise at that time. When theyre doing the test on the island, he let gon stay paralyzed on the ground but here he carried leorio? Which he doesnt even care about? Nothing makes sense.

I am confused. I thought Hisoka joined the exam for the first time when we see him there with gon. He failed before?? How???
