I may be wrong, but if you look closely, you can see that Jan didn’t actually drink the wine, it simply reached her closed lips and then she lowered the glass. The section about Jan lying to Michael's face - super props to Melora Hardin's acting skills cuz damn

Whoa i never thought about the fact that jan was drinking when she was “pregnant”

I realized the Hunter thing my first watchthrough (I think it’s intended to be kinda obvious), but this rundown was so concise, so well edited, and brought up tons of little things like “leaving the office for hours and always saying you’re seeing your sister in Scottsdale” that blew my mind cause I never made the connection on those tidbits. But there is SO MUCH extra footage/audio here, like where did Pam’s “Jim and me think Jan had an affair with her assistant Hunter” come from? And Jan berating Michael on speakerphone in the car with “did you eat my grapenuts?!” I’ve never heard those clips before

The Pam quote is actually in the show if I'm correct the Scranton white pages episode.

When he started to talk about how you could tell that Jan was lying, it reminded me of that scene of Dwight talking about Oscar being sick. “ There are several different ways to tell if a perp is lying. The liar will avoid direct eye contact. The liar will cover part of his or her face with his hands, especially the mouth. The layer will perspire. Unfortunately I talked to Oscar on the phone so none of this is useful”.

The Dinner Party is the best episode. If you listen to Hunter’s song it talks all about Jan’s affair with him. “You took me by the hand. Made me a man. That one night one night you made everything alright ooooooooo so wrong so right oh yeah.”

Raw to me meant more like...raw affection and love as opposed to the literal "So Raw" = no condom like the video suggests. Sounds like wrong aswell though, and yeah either words fit.

Bravo! This video is so well done! Greatness... Yes, one of the joys of "The Office" is the fact that there are many layers & it's the kind of show you can watch more than once & pick up on subtle subtext. .. Wonderful performances.. Hunter's demo recording is so bad it's good.. (I loved it when Jim stole the recording so he Pam could openly laugh at it later on after the dinner party fiasco.)

I knew EXACTLY which final clue was gonna be the final nail in the coffin. I heard that song and I immediately knew.

Clue #7: Jan was pregnant right before the dinner party On October 16, 2008 (S5 E4), the baby was born, and 9 months before that was February 16, 2008, right before the dinner party episode which was on April 10, 2008

It was definitely Hunter. That instability was hormones from the early stages of the pregnancy. Even from a psychological profile, while Jan had a pathological need for control, she seemed to cede control over to Hunter since he seemed like one of the few times in the show she showed genuine affection without the jaw clinching effort you normally see. I think she knew Hunter was only 17 and she wanted to get caught. I mean, she played the evidence in front of a whole room of people, but then she realized she was pregnant. She couldn’t go back to Hunter and she couldn’t just make up a guy. So she went back to Michael because she knew he would take her back. She made up the sperm donor story and was ok with it until Kevin blew her story apart by being a frequent donor. Her ego almost makes her tell the truth right there. She’d rather go to jail than have people believe Kevin could be the father, even in theory.

One thing I think is important to mention is when she said "I need to make this one count." One possibility is she did want to have a baby but didn't want it to be Michael's and instead Hunter's. That's why she was so careful and made him wear two condemns.

Holy crap. That’s a really good point. Also in s3 e21 the first scene where Michael is telling Jan he doesn’t want to come over she say if he is to tell her assistant Hunter to get more vodka. Btw e3 s21 is women’s appreciation day.
