Hungry Lioness Force Newborn Lion Cubs Through Traffic

Bad, bad Idea...The hungry Lioness and mother of the two newborn Satara Lion Pride Cubs fathered by Casper The White Lion and Brothers decided to take on the traffic on the main road to move her two baby cubs to a new den in order for her to hunt for food.
For these two cubs to survive in the wild and reach adulthood the chances are close to zero. Lets hope for the best! We will keep you updated.
The biggest threat for them are NOT cars and tourists but other Lions and predators.
Filmed close to Satara Rest-camp in Kruger National Park, South Africa.
GAME DRIVE ETIQUETTE - RULES (SANParks):
- When you come across a sighting, slowly pull over on the side of the road closest to the animal, but keep a safe distance and turn OFF your engine
- If there are animals in the road, immediately stop at least 20 m from them
- The lane furthest from the sighting should NEVER be blocked, so that others can pass if they want to
- Don’t linger longer than a few minutes at a sighting, so that others can view it too
- Never go off the designated roads
- Never climb out of your vehicle during a drive, or hang out of your car windows or sunroof
- Don’t hoot or blare loud music
- Avoid driving into vegetation, as this could damage the environment or kill small animals
- During night drives, never shine a spotlight directly in animals’ eyes
- Never make noise to get animals to move, stand up or otherwise react for pictures
- Respect the rangers, and always comply with their requests or instructions

In other videos where the lion pride is hunting a baby elephant you guys have the audacity to say "Save the baby elephant from these murderer lions " and now here you're expressing how cute those cubs are Well those very cute cubs need to eat meat to survive so I want you guys to talk logically next time when it comes to predators eating their prey...We can't save the prey and shouldn't interfere in nature... Otherwise the predators can starve to death

Amazing how she can communicate with them to Stay put in a certain place until her specific calls are heard.

So sad. We are gruesome....in their territory. There is,absolutely nothing cute,about it. A can hardly sleep. It's so disturbing for me. Der MENSCH kann grausam sein...oh how interesting. Is it not? Mary. ? Or what ever
They are so small and defenseless, even though they are lion cubs, my motherly instincts kick in and the worrying starts. When will she bring them to the pride? The thought of them alone is frightening ! Some of these people in these cars are so disrespectful of these Lions. Just stop , turn off your engine and enjoy until they decide to move on. especially with these precious little ones around. Thank you so much for sharing Casper's new cubs ! I'll be praying for them 🙏😇🥰

Oh my, so many things for these newborns and their beautiful Mama to contend with. Stay safe little ones, Mama will protect you to the best of her ability. I could hardly watch this when the cubs were under the car. ❤💯

Lioness is so watchful and caring. So hope she stumbles on an easy but delicious heathy meal with no other wild life in sight so she can eat in peace.

Casper's babies are so cute! When one baby went sitting next to the tire under the car, i got so scared if the car would move not knowing the baby was there ... Thank God the mama lion called the baby out of it.
Seeing those tiny cubs on the road was difficult to watch. I'm sure the mother is desperate for food. But she also seems to be perhaps an inexperienced mother for moving such young cubs. I'll be praying she gets a good meal, to keep producing milk. And that the cubs survive these first months. I know you'll keep us updated. Thank you!

Love how the Mom looked at the vehicle and around desperately for a moment like... "Don't drive, my baby is under there!" Interesting that they have a far greater understanding and awareness than we give them credit for. We know they're intelligent and calculated hunters, though this awareness of their awareness was so beautiful to see.
This is how most of them don't live long she need to eat to feed them the pride have to help her. God watch over these precious little ones and provided for the mom

Poor babies, poor mother sadly only 2 little ones so precious. That's a perfect example of Lions choosing to use road because of long grass maybe. She daren't leave them alone, on the wrong side so vulnerable, but bigger danger right there. So much wrong with this, heartbreaking. Not to mention the swelling on left front elbow 😟 beautiful family 🙏🙏🙏😰

Those little Cubbies are Only About 4 weeks at the most Six weeks... They can't even walk properly with their little back legs... Sad the Pressure that those Vehicles put on the Lioness.. You could See How stressed she was when her baby went under that VEHICLE... That cubbie could get burned by the Exhaust system... But People are too Stupid to think of keeping their engines off... They just want to Get the " Best" Photo's!!! Absolutely sickening.... ❤🦁❤🦁

She was looking for a new, safe dent for her little cubs. Those cubs were too small to be ready to meet her pride. She needed out to hunt.

Has Kruger National Park given a free pass to Guests to forget the Game Drive Etiquettes? Instead of pulling over on the side of the road, all incoming vehicles kept on moving. Especially, the driver of the Mitsubishi SUV in the front kept driving the vehicle so close to the 2 babies and the lioness, continuously scaring and disturbing them. Such guests should be thrown out of the Park, and the Park security staff penalized for allowing this misdemeanor. Sad!
