I just hate when people judges you according to how much "good you were at school" like if you were still at school. Also, it's nice seeing that the story didn't end up with the MC getting married to the girl, because it's clear how the MC sees her just as close friend and nothing more (also, the fact no one "forces" a romance thing is good as well). Probably in the future the same MC will help her to find a good guy (and who knows, even the same girl will help him out about finding a nice woman), so she can have a nice life.

I really should try to take a look of your old 'Keiichi helps someone with food and lodging' stories later. And the antagonist isn't even named, but at least today we get a slight bit of a past reveal. An antagonist who used to be a bit like Keiichi in the past: Innocent and honest. But it looks like he got drunk with power and position...

Actually, this is not necessarily the case: I have seen many cases of people with arrogant and haughty personalities who, as soon as they arrive in a new job, tend to maintain a low profile and a false humility with their colleagues and superiors at first, because they know full well that they have to settle in their new workplace and learn their new tasks (in short....they are ass kissers)....only to then return to their true personalities, as soon as they consider their "settling in period" to be over or, at most, once they have climbed the hierarchy a little. The antagonist of this story seems to me to be much more of this type, given that he constantly boasts about his scholastic background and how in reality, although the CEO remembers him as initially "innocent and honest", the antagonist actually has shown to have no respect for either him or his stepdaughter, when the CEO is absent.

For insulting Keichi and for looking down on him! It was nice of Keichi to let Yui inside and eat and sleep in a futon. And it was a very sweet reunion beetween those 2 after 6 years. In other words, I wish Keichi and Yui good luck from now on!😊🖤💙💛❤💖

@@abaque24 it's not the companies job to give him better equipment. They simply don't care. And yes he's probably being paid peanuts but that's his problem. Like I've stated in another thread, the cheapest mic can be bought for $20, so that's on the VA. That being said, not improving your equipment because they won't pay for it won't help him in the long term. if that is the mindset, enjoy unemployment. It's likely that they don't expect much because of his bad audio. He has no agent so he doesn't get paid to scale, meaning they could be paying him next to nothing. But improving his equipment is his responsibility and his alone. It is not a case of would if they could. For any VA that wants to be taken seriously, they will.
