The owner has no plans to sell the car but to repair it and hopefully make it run on the streets of japan one day.

No. That looks like a 1965 or 1966 Mustang but could be as late as 1968. The Boss 302 was 1969 and 1970. Can tell it is earlier than 1969 due to the presence of wing windows.
