I hope this moment in history will wake people up to the fact the enemy we have in common is a corrupt, authoritarian imperialist and capitalist system. As a conservative, you might bristle at me mentioning capitalism and imperialism (I'm unashamedly a communist, a *real* communist, not what FOX calls a communist), but I ask you to honestly ask yourself whether this system actually benefits regular working people. Who *does* it benefit? Is it moral? If you're religious, what did Jesus teach about the poor and the disenfranchised and what did he say about rich people? More down to earth, your taxes are going to support this genocide. I doubt you're ok with that.

How could the victims of yesterday become the victimizer of today? Normally when you suffer you know deep down how suffering feels like sounds like etc and you don’t want inflict that same suffering to another human being.
