Holy shit. 30:30 brought back memories from 2006 in Afghanistan. That exact scenario. Cars in the wadi approaching at nighttime. This looked exactly like it did back then. Just without the air and tanks. But the tracers and the environment are spot on.

@@tdh2044 Insurgency is very good and pretty realistic (way more realistic than the average shooter, certainly more realistic than cod or seige) but is not realistic compared to squad or arma It is super fun tho, and not a "shitty little shooter"

This looks like certain parts of Afghan. If you were to add mud huts and small villages, it would be the perfect start to some of the vehicle patrols I used to do back in 2013-2014.

@@eke4146 if villagers were leaving their homes, it was because shit was about to go down. For example, if an I.E.D. was in the area or if there was an ambush planned. Sometimes they would still be in the area, just all inside their homes and no kids in the area playing.

Vehicle volume is busted in Arma 3. It's either deafening or barely audible, and you can't really adjust it in any meaningful way.

From 31:00 on is THE MOST intense firefight I have ever seen in these videos. The ending was right out of a movie! I've watched this last segment a couple times due to its intensity!

I mean that's how you orient yourself... And someone well versed with compass and map will beat the effeciency and usefulness of a GPS any day, in any scenario, except low visibility ones And the second exception if both use high tech equipment for guided munitions, it's the only I can think of but that's not really relevant to self/squad orientation after all I always wanted to be either recon or artillery crew, but I never got called in to service for some reason. At least I'm an outdoor "specialist" in lack of suitable English terms Planning routes or using grid system or reading terrain is tons of fun, I think, for some reason

I left a like before I watch because I already know it’s gonna be great.

Man I knew someone who had to man a Humvee mounted gun and man it takes guts as you are the first guy they go for and your out in the open.

Heck yeah, Drewski content! And Arma at that!

Cincinnati Harry it can be whatever you want it to be basically. You can play against ai, against just players, or both even. The missions are generally made by players, so the gameplay is dictated by whatever they choose to make.

Every fire fight is like what my mom here’s when I crunch my knuckles.

Beautiful as always. It's been a long long time waiting for your arma gameplay. Wish I could experience such missions as this.

This was so cool, esp at the end with all hell going lose.

Just started playing Arma 3, and stumbled upon this in search of good videos to watch at work to scratch the itch. Holy hell this is some proper good stuff!! First half of the video I was just admiring how good the game & environment looks and how well you guys work together. 30th minute all hell breaks loose and I’m literally freaking out at my desk at the beautiful chaos, while frightened colleagues stare at me and avoid me as far as possible. 18:00 damn i like when they are just talking about stuff and how to deal with them and then they go into an all-out firefight and stuff blows up

The night fighting at the end was visually stunning. I’d be dead just because I’d be so busy rubbernecking I’d get my head blown off

10:39 wrong use of danger close. Its when you call in an Airstrike or Arty or anything within close proximity of you or friendly forces :D

He's using Task Force Arrowhead Radio, Blastcore, ACE, MCC, CBA and probably some of the CUP mods for the terrain and the weapons/Vehicles :)
