Finally have a new laptop.....
A winter SA trip with a new camping group. This time to Hummocks Station, Snowtown.
Hummocks station remans family owned, in fact, on of the original families to farm the area, so there is great history to see how the farm has changed over the years.
In fact, you can opt to stay in the original shearers quarters, which have lovingly been restored.
The camping facilities are great, with powered, unpowered and bush camping options. Camp kitchen & covered communal areas. Showers are a good size with good pressure.
I enjoyed my stay at the Station and will go again, now I am more confident with hitching the van on my own, I would like to explore the area more.
