Hummingbirds at Sabal Palm Sanctuary

Fall migration is in full-swing here in the Lower Rio Grande Valley and the Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds have descended upon Sabal Palm Sanctuary in force!
After a strong Norther blew in yesterday, bringing much needed rain(!), I took the opportunity to shoot some video of our visiting Ruby-Throats feeding alongside our resident Buff-Bellied Hummingbirds.

This is an amazingly beautiful video...rain and thunder and lots of hummingbirds feeding and getting along fairly well for hummingbirds...then after the rain with rain drops still on the feeder...chirping and humming of the birds...wonderful...I've watched it three time already. This video should get more views. I forgot to give you an thumbs up for the very clean feeder and clean clear colorless sugar water.

Watched this again this evening before going to sleep...watched it twice on full screen...very nice.
Really great quality video. It's very interesting seeing the buff-bellied hummingbirds interacting with the Ruby-throats. Buff Bellied hummingbirds are considered to be the least researched commonly occurring hummingbird in the United States.
