Nice one Kayla, very brave. I’m 63 and having had three infusions am now just about to start taking injections, although due to NHS ( UK ), supplier and my travelling, my due date for first injection has rapidly been and gone, so when I get back to England I am trying to organise a nurse visit, albeit the window I have before I travel again is very short, I am doubtful if this can be arranged. As I have received the injections and waste disposal bin, I am fortunate having watched your excellent demonstration, of feeling much more confident to self inject if I need too. Thank you and I hope you are doing well. Regards Frank

Hey, I am starting adalimumab (UK version) Tomorrow. This video was great thank you. I have alittle more confidence now self prescribing. However still a bit scared! I have been dyagnosed with indeterminative Colitis for soon to be 14 years. I have had a flare up for the past year and a half. It has been soul destroying. I used to be scared to talk or research these sorts of things however now with age I am more than happy to share my story and talk to like minded crohnies!! Thanks for the video, I hope you are keeping well.

I've been treating my flare ups with omeprazole or protonix and Tylenol, works pretty well if you're not home and need something over the counter to treat it, any discomfort usually goes away by the 3rd of 4th day, I've found there's a significant difference between day 1 and 2 but you still feel some discomfort on day 2

Just watched your video. I've been using Humira for years but have been working overseas and always had the benefit of a health care professional administer it to me every other week. I just returned to USA and no longer have that service. I was surprised to receive the pen from the pharmacy. Have always had the Humira provided in syringes, so, a bit of a surprise. Very happy to find your video. The sound of the spring as you administered caught me by surprise. Glad to have known that in advance. Thanks for posting.

I hope everything went ok with Humira. In 2016 when I was 21 years old I was prescribed the medication for my Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2005 when I was 11 years old. My adult rheumatologist asked me if I had ever tried Humira and I said no. So I tried Humira when I was 21 years old and DKA is what I got.

I had probably the most unfortunate experience today trying to inject myself with humira. The number one cap didn't want to come off, despite my efforts. I had to twist it. I had to twist it. Something inside was rattling. Finally, when I injected my thigh, I pressed the syringe as hard as I could and held it against my thigh for more than 10 seconds. When I lifted the syringe, a splashes of humira sprinkled on my thigh, as if all those 10 seconds while I pressed the number 2 cap and held the syringe against my thigh, the humira contents were even no coming out of the syringe, despite the yellow indicator in the window on the side.
