What a journey! You really started from scratch. And yes, in general I’m a good sleeper, but the best sleep I ever get is in Hawaii. Thank you for sharing your humble story!

A cozy place in Pahoa. I could hear those "koki" frogs. I remember them lulling my husband & I asleep camping at my cousins' place in Pana'ewa! The best summers we ever had. It is BEE-UTIFUL!

Cool. I like that you are a no frills kind of guy and could make due with very little, and in so being have managed to create quite a special little existence for yourself. Congratulations! What I don't understand is if you own the land you are on... you mention having to make requests to have the shed moved to your camping site and also when you wanted to expand the cabin. Is this part of a communal living type of property? Sorry, if you mentioned this in the first video. This is the first I've seen of yours.. btw, I live up the coast in Honomu. aloha...!

No I didn’t own the land. In episode one I explained that I lived at Kalani Oceanside retreat. An intentional community that catered to yoga, massage and group retreats. Thanks for your response Stone, Good to meet you. Aloha
