Love hearing this at games. Like 'Abide With Me' at Wembley, it's spine tingling when sung by a crowd. Heard Hull sing it at Anfield last term, didn't realise you Mackems sang it as well. Make sure you get a round of it in next term.

Brilliant lads ! Great atmosphere as usual. Like this every game in the South West Corner, When the away fans get moved the North Stand Upper we will have the whole of the South Stand joined with us. Everyone in the South West Corner stay there and don't move. SWC FOR EVER !

Thank You Sir, I don't know what it is but the Hull & S/land fans always seem to get on really well having a good crack on & a few beers everytime I've been home & away to the games

after this match at station having a beer hull fans said what the feeeck you lot drink before matches as to the song well sunderland sandies durham viilages pityakers gateshead jarra hebburn tyne valley ashington billingham stockton consett stanley blaydon newcastle reds many more all as one person singing for wor team the team wherever we are from however we talk the team we fight breath for until the light goes out whenever that day comes ..

Much respect from the U.S...I'm a big supporter of the Columbus Crew (as indicated in my picture). A few weeks ago, the scoreboard literally caught on fire and the supporter section provided the soundtrack for the match (including the national anthem). Up 3 nil against our rival D.C. United, in the 85th minute, we broke out into this chant (I can't help...falling in love with Crew...Columbus...Columbus). Yanks love football, too : )

I think I was at the game the song originated it was Sheffield United away in 1976/7 there was a comeback of teadboys and punks and the sund/land lads were singing aginst each other and the teddy boys started wise men . by the way on the way out we got ambushed by Sheff we'd as well

@Scottk95 It's not going to happen mate but that doesn't matter. The south stand is going to be for people intent on chanting regardless of what the score is. Lots of colour and new songs regularly.

@Scottk95 Well if you will something to fail it will. However if you're positive and make a go of it it will be a success. If the club are pushing it as a "lively singing section" they're not going to expect people to sit down. You either move and make it work or you remain in the same place and fail to help improve the atmosphere within the ground. Your call. I know what I'm doing.
