Yes that set works pretty good, but I found that once the get any oil from any source, (hands), they tent to slip to easy so I added a sleeve that just can push over all the rings to add a little extra pressure makes it work like original, and also keeps the finger in place for repated openings. Have a great day
Watched the video...decided I must have this set. Under a tenner (£7.90, Ali Express, free postage). Only problem is, I don't have any tubular locks, so I'll have to go and buy some. 😂
I cannot believe you have not done these before. I'm sure you have. But you wouldn't know great video. Ash mate👍👊😎🇬🇧😊

Yeah, I don’t know how or why, just never got around to them I guess!
Need to grab a set of these just to have in case. Would love a really in depth review of the covert instruments tubular pick, can never find a video for either adjusting the rings and or just what preferences of how like to leave it set. Great review 💙😊
I purchased a set of these some time ago now and mine had the guide pin in them which can be removed when needed. My set is still working fine even after all these years, excellent value for money 👍👍;-)
I've had the same set for about 4 years , all the original bands are still fine which was unexpected , I thought the rubber/silicon bands would degrade but they are still fine , not the best tool for the job but they do work well enough and the price is great
I was happy with my purchase. They're fine for the money.
A fair and honest review as always! Thanks for sharing Ash and have a great week mate.
I’ve got a set of those. They don’t suck. I cut the handles down on mine to make them more compact.
A well balanced review. Whatever it may be, you don't get what you don't pay for and at ten quid you can't much complain.
I have a set of these. As you say, the finger resistance adjustment is rather crude. I've also had issues with the end not fitting the lock well enough to apply tension to the lock. I'll have to look up those Goso (sp?) picks. They look much better. I may also look at machining a replacement for the finger resistance bands.
Ive had a set of these for a while now, but I havnt found a single lock that any of them will fit yet. But I do also have the Sparrows 'goat wrench' tool that you designed.
I have these!!! Love them.

I have this set; on many locks they work almost as fast as the actual key.

I'm thinking about the one on Covert Instruments since you can modify the pin count.
It's lovely to have this review. I was just findind review for this from past 2 days. Covert instruments one is $40 on sale. That only just 1 size

Lockpickable has these 3 for $25
The one that CI sells for is very tight but I was just barely able to get it to fit in my American Lock 7260. It was too tight to operate with, but with a very minimal modifications to the tool, it should fit fine. I just haven’t got around to modifying mine. They are also on sale until January 10th. I know you’re in the UK but hopefully you can get a hold of one. Keep up the great content!
This would be good for when my washers get stuck at my laundromat?
Thank you for teaching me and I can already lock pick a door handle and I am 9 years old thank you for your help
Think short of being able to lock in the biting these are the best tubular impressioners, out of the box. The adjustable type are great, especially when combined with SPP, but can sometimes be quite a pain to adjust just right to impression some locks.
The set I bought does not have the arrow on the shaft indicating the pin position. So the first lock I opened, was a random insertion of the tool It opened it, but I couldn't lock it, even with the key. Was my first experience at lock picking so probably my mistake. I have now marked the pin location but am reluctant to try on a lock as it will be useless unless I can lock it🤔
i got these. they are "okay" there is two versions of this floating around. ones with the indexing pin and one with out. i ended up with the non pin version.
Seems to be around $20ish from the reliable Chinese suppliers, and about £23-25 in the UK. Any cheaper for Europeans, and is there a supplementary tool for other sizes to look for?
i have these tubular picks and i have the southord tubular lock picks. to this day i have had no sucess using the huk picks but the southord picks no problems.

Same experience. I can't even get them to open the plastic practice locks. I think they're either faulty or just dogshi...
I have a set and they work without any problem
How to buy that tool
👍🏻
These tools are fantastic for the price and for locksport they are perfect. They are cheap and well made, what more can you ask for. As plug4uk points out though you didn't mention the pin inside the tube that can be left in or removed depending on the lock. 🙂👍
I think that was a harsh review they did what you wanted them to do quite easily, I bought a set a few years ago and I don't think they are aimed at professionals which is reflected in the price.

I don’t think I was harsh. I like these 😀
🤩✌️😎
Gotta spit on that thang.
I love your content

Great job Yoda!! Finally someone smart enough to remake a video of something from 6 years ago. Your the only person who's thought of this. Good job!
