The voice actors for both Hugo and Amicia are fantastic.

You don’t have any idea of how good I felt during this part. I don’t remember when was the last time I felt good for a revenge scene in a game.

Me too. In fact, the biggest mistake both Amicia and Hugo did is they didn't wipe out the entire island with the count, countess and all their people in it. If they have done that, the count wouldn't be chasing them at the sea when they were sailing away from the island.

@@danielliew7960 yeah, it was expected that the count would take revenge on Amicia, whatever the cost, so he had to be killed before leaving the island, and thus hugo wouldn't have reached the last threshold. The writer really wanted the story to end with a sad ending.

I felt bad immediately after killing her. You're killing her as Hugo, and at that point Hugo is already in the process of losing himself. Killing her felt like pushing Hugo further towards being consumed by the macula.

“Shut up! You will all die!” the moment he tried to silence them you knew he wasn’t giving mercy. nothing is more scary than a broken child with the powers of a deity.

Yup and when his gave into the macula..when he gave his judgement you know that them all dying would have been true, if amicia didn't stop it.. I think that if Hugo did destroy everyone and everything that would have been pretty fair, I mean..the macula isn't good or bad, it only depends on how you use it

The voice acting in this game was fantastic

That long walk to get to this scene really hurt because the whole time you know what's waiting for poor Hugo at the end.

i was from "so sorry for what we have brought here" to "its party time my fellow rodents"

This entire scene I was happy that Hugo was getting revenge but so concerned of then consequences on his Phyche.

Hugo and amicia is a sweet person but they're both a revenge type and is just so perfect..love that..

She was so sweet and nice at first. I've never felt this way about a character being killed off before, but I'm soooo glad the rats took her! She couldn't even compare to B eatrice. She was jealous, and obviously felt insignificant because she never had the loving character of a mother!

Charlotte McBurney (Amicia), Logan Hannan (Hugo), and Kit Connor (Lucas) did an amazing job bringing these characters to life!. I didn't know Kit Connor was in this! He also plays Nick Nelson in Heartstopper on Nerflix!. These scene was the best revenge scene ever!

This is truly one of the greatest revenge moments in gaming this year. 2:37 if you pause it at just the right moment, their is a glitch where Hugo disappears.

@@danielliew7960 unfortunately if Amicia did that and let Hugo’s power go wild in this moment the Macula would have grown even more and they would have less time before the final stage was unleashed.

It was this moment where I decided I would kill every single soldier I saw on that island from that point on.

I was button spamming the shit out of this scene trying to get Hugo to run lol I was ready to f**k up every one

When I saw this I wasn't worried for Hugo. I was worried about how badly he was going to kill everyone there. Tweet has no idea what they had unleashed on their island. THAT'S how you create a menacing character. Where you don't fear for him, but you fear WHAT he is capable of

Hi! Amicia and Hugo's actors did an amazing job with their roles in A Plague Tale Requiem! I love the part where Hugo lets the rats out and kills Emily. It's sad that his Psyche kind of reached its breaking point after his mothers death and I also think that after seeing so much violence in the world Hugo had to grow up really fast and he transformed so much. Also he really looked up to Amicia and he was just following her example when she was constantly killing everyone. By the time she realized what was happening to Hugo it was too late and she couldn't accept the loss of her brother so instead she tried as hard as she could to hold onto hope for him and tried to save him and protect him as best as she could.

That moment after Amicia gets chased, beaten down and so much more... And then you get to control Hugo. Before he was out of bed I already knew some sweet sweet revenge was about to go down.

Hugo and Amicia's relationship was different between the two games the second one they had powerful love and could move together against bad people in hard times like this one

Sometimes the games tell us that it.s still alright and deserve to take our time

If I could have added something to this scene I would have made Amecia tell Emilie the truth just before killing her so that not only is she going through the motion of thinking she's been rejected as a Mother to the Child of Embers. But also that in her entire life there has never been anything real but the pain she suffered. She would look at Victor with Tears knowing him to be a Liar. Her mind would be broken and she would die alone.

Yeah that would have been so great 😃 the count is all to blame on this one, Emily was mentally ill and he "saved" her by lying to her, while he knew the truth, but apparently not even all of it since killing is family is what caused the end of the world..😶

Yeah, I was a bit bothered a bit abt that. Idk why they didnt make her get some of the armor from Aelias armory, like, that wouldve made it more belivable

I mean, the way that mother E ( emillie ) act, and talk. I think she would make a great mom, IF only she knew that in ancient Asia , it’s okay if you have two mom, the mom that raise you and the mom that gave birth to you. Especially in ancient Chinese, a child could have several mothers, but only one father. The journey of the de rune familly could have been better, and Hugo could have live, if emillie knew….

@The Quiver I have finished the game last night, and Oh My God in chapter 16 there's mission about looping in mind, Amicia must surrender poor her, She is just a innocent but the demon force her for surrender because She was very strong. And yes I feel sorry to Hugo too I kill him, He just demon's victim, Manicula.
