I saw Rob years ago and I went to show my support after the Boss clinic telling him how flawless it was and he just laughed and said "Eh well, some notes were better than others." I'll never forget how down to Earth he was.

+Mateo Bakija He is in a band called Danger Danger and tours the u.s demoing Roland/Boss products along with touring with danger danger. I saw him at my local music store a few years ago doing a demo for the Roland guitar synth. he'ss a cool person easy to talk with and no chip in his shoulder. also amazing guitar player!!

Amazing Cool

My wife and I saw Robert many, many times with Iron Horse in the early 2000's when he first came to the states. One memorable show was at a biker club picnic and Roberts mom was there visiting from Sweden. We sat with her while Robert was busy. In between bands they had a big d*** contest on stage and we were trying to reassure his mom that this was not a normal thing for the US.

Wow this guy isn't even fair! I'm a huge fan of instrumental guitar playing....Marco sfogli, Guthrie, Steve Vai, petrucci, loomis, Christian muenzner, and Francesco artusatto. That's to name a few, and I've listened to rob for years, but he's really come into his own as far as songwriting and melodic playing....seems like a cool guy too. I never was into his songs before....too neoclassical sounding for me, but he seems to be more "fusion" now which I love....one of the greats for sure. Impeccable chops, tone, timing, melodic sense, and songwriting. Just great!

Fuck it. I'm sticking to ukulele.

thats the reason why so many great musicians in euro, long winter, good wealthfare, do not need to worry about money no much things to do, so you can spend tons of time learning music, try this in asia, imposssible.

??? it's entirely possible in asia. You need a few requirements. Well off parents to buy you an entire rig, and the will power to work at least 3/7 days of the week. Living in asia is pretty cheap. Somewhere like Japan or Korea you can rent a tiny apartment and just jam all life long. If anything it's the least possible in the states.

Those "no" votes are very hard to please: these may not be Rob's best passes at these chords and solos BUT this is just an amp demo for cryin' out loud! And honestly, as far as the amp goes, really what's the point of recording an amp demo when you obviously haven't gone to any trouble to record a decent sound! Oh don't get me wrong - the amp seems to cope easily with the range this piece asks of it but my Christ - recorded out of the air? That sure as hell don't sound like a direct line to me. Now that could be the "cabinet " sound that is being simulated. But the range expressed by the amp is fine - no flab, controlled sag - nice. Funny that Rob seems able to do most anything to except "chicken picking!"
