Only if there’s air leaks other normally ok

should always check that hydrostatic plug while your down there, if no drywell in area your literally rolling the dice every time you drain a pool like this. ground water is no joke, would hate to see a pool lift out of the ground on you.

My good man, that is not _'some'_ sludge on the bottom; that's thicker than birthday cake frosting. That's an entire _biosphere_ of sludge.

I did a sand change on the filter, the circulation pump was working fine! And there was no heater
