What a beautiful pool. I can’t even imagine what an indoor pool like that with solid mosaic tile and a tile deck would cost to build. Seems odd that someone would let something so beautiful turn into a pond. You boys did a really nice job getting it back in tip top shape.

As person in the fish tank keeping hobby that was a lot of aquatic plants that I have seen sold in stores for butt loads of money like 10 to 25 a plant depending on its size and type. All that moss! It almost looks like someone did that deliberately to the pool. Like for instance throwing aquatic (fishtank) plants into the water. I mean, how else is that even possible… having plants in an indoor pool with no outdoor influences like wind and rain to bring seeds or seedlings into the water?

How.....just. How did plants get into an inside pool?!! Better check for critters too.... I gotta say though, you sir, are the best pool guy I've ever seen. You never back down from a challenge, and the transformation is just phenomenal. Kudos for your perseverance.❤ I'm shocked the tile was in such good shape. Must be a relatively new build.
It’s concerning when you lift a plant from the depths of the pool, and it has roots two foot in length! You know this has been festering for some time. In the background, the ceiling bit that meets the wall… it looks like it’s falling apart. I wonder, was this indoor pool part of an abandoned house/building?
Those are actually some really lovely pond plants 😭 def could have sold them on!!! 😂
Man, that could NOT have been too healthy inside the house! Fantastic job of cleaning it all up! Looks & probably smells much better now! Love the tile 'mural' in the deep end.
@Whoever68
2 жыл бұрын
Actually I think it would have been healthy. No chlorine smell. The fact plants were growing means the water was oxygenated so fish could have lived in it quite happily as well as frogs had they had access to the outdoors. The condition of the pool has no reflection on the interior of the home.

Where I live (in Canada) we can build pools like this- the first heave destroys them. Also, they have to have a stepped entrance, for safety. (Apparently lots of people and animals die in pools not because they can’t swim, but because they can’t get out…).
I've watched many of these videos and I'm going to comment on this one: This one is ripe to convert, build some transitions , maybe even build a bowled out deep end, you have the perfect pool to skateboard in. You should leave the blue tiles but only on the top 4 inches underneath the coping. Great channel, keep up the good work
Such a beautiful transformation!

So my friends use to ask me if we were raising some kind of creature inside the pool, lol.
