Just a piece info...Air Asia flights tend to always get delayed,or at worst, cancelled (very often) both LOCAL and INTERNATIONAL. Personally, NOT getting back to Air Asia ever. Lots of problems. LOL

The airport only has 2 runways. Its just not enough for all the foreign and domestic flights in naia. That is why they are building a new airport in Bulacan swamps. Hopefully that will be done without delay

Its already delayed,smc announced that they will start building there by 2026,they will delay it for another 1 year bcoz the government told them to focus on naia rehab first

Don’t be afraid to make complaints. These consistent delays, no AC ?! etc should be escalated and hopefully things can change. You have done so much for our country as far as promoting tourism is concerned and we are so grateful and appreciative for that. Stay safe always 🙏

Hope they fix the AC asap as it's really very uncomfortable especially when there are delays. The airport could be in renovation but pls still have the AC running well at least

We’ve had the same delays with NAIA. The airport is below capacity. Our flight from South Korea and Tacloban were both delayed from NAIA not having a time slot

I'm sorry you had a very long delayed flight. It seems to be a reality these days. I feel bad not only for you but also for those English tourists who have been traveling for 30 hours. Tired, hungry, grumpy, grouchy, frustrated: those would ve how I would feel. TY for a realistic vlog for after all there can be challenges along the way. Koda is so adorable and quit a traveler! There is a nationwide power shortage in Luzon Island bcoz of the lack of enough power plants. Maybe this is one of the aftermatch of government neglect.

Airports are subject to delays, ranging from late arrival and some necessary fixing some airplane hitch. It is not a guarantee for a timely departure or arrival of planes from any AIRPORT, One should give himself enough time to depart and allotments for late arrival. You can create disturbance or cursing airport personnel but their hands are tied and has no control over a scheduled delayed departure or arrival. Patience is always a good virtue.

Yeah, flight being delayed is really frustrating. We even made a joke and combined the names of Ph Airlines (PAL) and CebPac and called them PalPac, "palpak" is a tagalog word that means "sloppy"

Saddened for those English girls' bad experience here. I hope it doesn't turn them off from visiting again. I think maybe there are more tourist now because it's the dry season. I also heard from the DOT that we have set a record number of tourists now. Hence, all the issues... About your travel woes, yeah it's normal to complain at times. We're just humans. But i guess just always remind yourself if you'd rather be working 9-5 Mon-Sat behind a desk than earn a living doing what you're doing. I'm sure all your complaints will vanish, hehe.

Naia airport is on a transition from government to san Miguel Corp. Operations until December this year. Expect topnotch operation next year onwards as they are adding terminal 5 and extensions of terminal 1 and 3 to accommodate 100 million passenger a year. The new operator is a consursume of Changi airport and San Miguel corporation. Hence the glitches on the over all operations.

Yes ! This coming from a filipino The biggest pet peeve of mine are the Airports nickle and diming people and the delays and cancellations !! It's very annoying and it's usually the Domestic airlines ! International not so much .

I always experience delay in domestic flights, specially afternoon flights. Cebu pac is always late for me, manila to cebu my flight is 5pm we flew 9pm, cebu pac, another experience is tacloban to manila 4 pm flight became 6pm flight plus the another 30 mins in the air because we cannot land right away, i think naia is so congested now.

You have obviously always been lucky at NAIA then. I don't think in all the years(15yrs) going through the airport where we haven't had some sort of drama or delay, it's just the way it's always been. As for terminal 2 yeah it's bad 😅 We try and get access to a lounge as it's easier with a child.

You've been practically all over (not quite) the country. The Board of Tourism should recognize your promotions of the Philippines by now. Mrs. Marcos (first lady) just awarded some bloggers for their efforts to help the country in the tourism industry. From the bottom of our hearts, George, Lucy and Koda WE thank you so much.

Been traveling to Philippines for many years, so far no delays at all, I heard don’t pick cebu pacific or air Asia, delayed all the time, I used Philippine airlines a little expensive but worth it especially we travel in several places, Philippine airlines is the one if you don’t one delays

Currently I do think MNL airport is operating more than its capacity nowadays..having 4 airport terminals with just 2 runways. Causing a lot of traffic at the tarmac. No airline is safe from delays though,.. but so far if I fly Cebu Pacific & Air Asia, I always expect long delays even cancellation with them, being a low cost airline they have too many flights scheduled through out the day for their fleets... so just one delay on an earlier flight it will have a domino effect on its entire fleet schedule.. If you fly with them I suggest a morning flight, like 8am-11am.. If you fly Philippine Airlines, they are not perfect too, flights also gets delayed but I prefer their services than the other two.. downside is that the tickets are much more expensive.. so more disappointment when it gets delayed 😂😂 plus the terminal they are operating at for domestic (Terminal 2) is too outdated and boring for me.. you really can't do anything when stucked in there during delays..

FYI, as a rule I stopped flying out of NAIA due to all the irregularities and thefts. Also I don’t fly PAL due to the poor service and under or non maintenance of facilities and equipments. I now fly out of Clark airport which is more convenient for me and my wife. Also it is much more faster to get checked in. Facilities are more modern and airy. So far I have not experienced any of the problems prevalent in NAIA.

Air Asia flights are always delayed. I think Philippine Airlines would be a better choice next time .

I DONT KNOW IF SUNLIGHT AIR HAS FLIGHT TO ILOILO TRY IT BEST DOMESTIC AIRLINE. I think they have Flight usually to SIARGAO . Thats ALWAYS THE PROBLEM WITH CEBU PACIFIC so I never ride with that . Theres always an ISSUE about there dlugjrs.😩

Cebu Pacific is the king of delayed flights…avoid them

In the 70's there's only one terminal in Manila International Airport (NAIA) it's chaotic then, I could imagine it now having multiple terminal and spread out in a larger area, It's not a good idea to take for granted the schedule and you must not be late as well, the whole matter is bad for business, needs a new airport not only one.
