Mental health is real and alot of ppl suffer like myself very heavy.... find a vice use it, be what u expect people to be and otherwise understand what some people can't be.... reptile and aquarium have become and very important part of my mental healing and therapy. My pets tanks and plants become a very helpful stress remover to say the least! Now don't go stressing the learning process though cuz alot will die in process but you will learn. Enjoy and cheers to positivity

Hello! I love this setup! Just wondering what filter you are using and where I can purchase one? All the filters I find seem to have too high of a flow, and I’m concerned it might stress the axolotls too much. Thank you!!

Waaaiiit, so the plant board isn’t directly in the water? How do You make it stand straight? I want to do something like this in the future for my axolotls but I’m not smart lol

Yes exactly! I currently prop it up against the wall. It makes it super easy to remove and water in the tub, no run off into the tank. Once it's dry I simply put it back

it gives me md fish tanks axolotl setup vibes

This is a great point! When the plants outgrow the wall, I simply replant them into a new pot around my home. This wall doesn't hold a huge volume, so this a great consideration. Thanks for sharing :)

The most important thing is to allow time to pass. The hardest part is being patient! You can use an aquarium water test kit to monitor your water parameters to know when the cycle is complete!

When you layer the sand and substrate how do you keep them layered when cleaning the tank or does it maintain itself?

I try not to disturb the substrate layer when cleaning. Much like the substrate layer in a planted aquarium it shouldn't need vacuuming if you have plants in there!

The axolotls are so blind they might accidentally think the other axolotls are prey so they might accidentally eat other ones

I don’t think I have ether of the socials you have but I can see if I do (I remember signing up for some sort or social but I can’t remember what one) .I have a question about lotl’s, how often should I top off the tank, I find sources saying daily and others saying every three so on and so forth, anyway thanks in advance

​@@MasonDaAutisticArtist Yes I know , I have 2 myself and my female doesn't have that bulge like hers. My male however does. At my Axolotol Shop in Texas, they say males will have a massive bulge behind the back legs but females won't.
