The siege of Bastogne (French pronunciation: BAS-tone) was an engagement in December 1944 between American and German forces at the Belgian town of Bastogne, as part of the larger Battle of the Bulge. The goal of the German offensive was the harbor at Antwerp. In order to reach it before the Allies could regroup and bring their superior air power to bear, German mechanized forces had to seize the roadways through eastern Belgium. Because all seven main roads in the densely wooded Ardennes highlands converged on Bastogne (Bastnach in German), just a few miles away from the border with neighboring Luxembourg, control of its crossroads was vital to the German attack. The siege was from 20 to 26 December, until the besieged American forces were relieved by elements of General George Patton's Third Army. (Born: Wikipedia).

Amazing, very realistic. Some of the soldiers seemed kind of old, one out of place M35 and a couple trucks with chrome on them but that was a very impressive (and believable) WW-II motorized column.

More M35's WWII vintage than any other vehicle (2 1/2 ton supply truck United States Forces). Those tough M35's won the war for the allies, they brought the food, gas, and ammo. Classes I, III, and V!!!! What you need to sustain in battle. The also brought back the wounded. All sorts of rear to the front communications challenged these men and they did it. Most often driven by tired and over worked African Americans, the Red Ball Express!

Well written. That is indeed correct. I see they are commemorating these rides with a military vehicle ride in the Netherlands organized by Crash 40-45

I cannot give positive comments. The camera works was not easy to watch. It did not highlight the vehicles, but every guy who waved. The title says "Huge Parade Bastogne WW2 Military Vehicles Nuts Weekend" but I saw more focus on the people than the vehicles. It was not easy to watch. Sorry, but the title was very misleading.

As a historian of US Military I must say: It's a sad to watch how the sacrifice and hard duty was became a cheap looking festival after of 78 years. These young people died there and there was only one vehicle which looks realstic and gave a real taste. This is someone history - some brave people who lost his life for someone else. this was a horror and sad time - it's not an occasion for some old guys which want to shine with his "cool looking vintage cars". Disgrace :/
