Coach, kate Spade, and Michael Kors outlets stores have goods that are made for the outlet. The quality is not as high as their main stores but I bought a Coach mini bag called the Tilly bag and I love it. So, I think outlet saves a lot of money and is good quality. Plus, outlet only goods are so cute because they are made for the outlet and not just rejected stock from their main stores.

I’ve still got furls bags from 20 years ago. Fantastic and amazing quality for a reasonable price. It just makes more sense to me.

I loved the video. That Ferragamo green iridescent bag is everything. It is a basic for me. It goes so well with a rich neutral.

I love the little wallet/coin purse/card holder from Ferragamo. The green and baby blue color are very cute.

I would have to say that, for Bottega, they might be clearing out Daniel Lee's designs since he has left. As someone who used to work in a retail Coach store in the US, mainline products do go to Outlet but it can sell out very fast. I also used to work at Moncler in the mainline stores, I got to visit an Outlet after leaving the brand and I did see some styles that I sold prior to leaving the brand. But I also noticed products that could be Outlet only since the style seemed exactly the same as mainline but the pricing was cheaper.

Can’t wait to watch this, your videos are such a great end to the week

Quick update, Sophie. I got the Coach flats! You know how when you have searched for something, whatever it was will show up to tempt you. Well suddenly there was that pair of two-tone ballet flats in my size and I snapped them up. They were in the Coach Shoe Outlet on line store. So yaay! I owe it to you and your discount shopping trip!

With coach in bicester village you just have to get lucky! i had a friend who worked there so a lot of the 20% off signs apply to more products then what it appears to only apply to, theres usually always an additional discount going on in the store its worth asking one of the associates x

Items that don’t sell well in the regular stores will make their way to the outlets. I know at Coach you can ask the associates which is which. I would assume at the other stores, too.

David is such a good helper when you are doing a shopping vlog! I wish you could go into a Coach retail shop. I was actually able to score a Ruby bag (retail bag) at an outlet because it was returned there. I got it for 50% off which was great! That little Givenchy bag was the same color of the Antigona mini I just got. That color is devine!

How much should we bring to Bicester for a day out? Like how much would you recommend bringing

I have discovered the secret to jumping the queue bat Dior. I have been very I’ll recently & need a wheelchair to get around Bicester. When I ask about the queue at Dior they instantly let me in. This time they didn’t have what I was looking for & the SA I was working with has taken my number & has already messaged me with another couple of colours. I,m so impressed with how lovely they were.

@@SophieShohetOfficial Unfortunately it is terminal but we’ll keep shopping whilst we can. I did very well at Bicester, a bag from Saint Laurent, a belt from Loewe, boots from Ugg for when my legs swell, lots of Jo Malone candles so was very pleased. We had reserved parking as well, with champagne & cheeseboard & hands free shopping which is essential with the wheelchair as they are very unstable. I haven’t been able to go since last year & it’s one of my favourite places. We had a lovely night in a country house hotel the night before & it was just so lovely to be out & about again. I slept all day Friday but it was worth it.

Went today on a Sunday probably around peak time to be fair. Parking was a bit tricky to find a space for a bit. Most shops didn't really have huge queues besides Dior and Gucci perhaps. Especially Dior from what I remember. I only went in a few shops and those didn't have queues

Outlet stores often sell different versions of designer goods which are cheaper and lower quality than their main retail locations. At least that's the common practice here in the US-- is it the same in the UK?

I’m not sure if outlets are the same in the UK, but in the USA the outlet shops sell items that are very similar to the high street stores but they are made specifically for the outlet. The quality is not as good and the fabric/material isn’t the same. It’s similar, but not the same. Occasionally they will get merchandise from the high street stores that didn’t sell but not all the time. There is a popular US women’s designer that makes highly coveted ballet flats with a large “T” medallion for her first name. Her outlet stores specifically carry items made for the outlet. The leather of those shoes aren’t as soft and the styles aren’t the same. As I’m watching further along in your video, I see you’re in Coach. Coach does make items just for their outlets. In the US the price tag isn’t the same. It’s interesting-if you do a side by side comparison you can see the items are different, but quite similar.

06:15 - The Q situation sounds mad 😅 Just wondered...🤔 (Although it might be a wrench...perhaps on the next visit...it's worth arriving dead on 10am when they open. Or even 10-15 mins b4 then.) And wait outside one of the many Stores u might like. Going 1st for the one likely to have the longest queue. I'm also thing one gets the widest selection of merchandise @ that time. B/c it'll have been put out the night b4. After the Store had closed.

Hi Sophie, I adore your videos and how authenticl you are. In the USA, outlets tend to have handbags or shoes for less but the quality is not the same. Poor quality. Not the same quality as a high end store that may sell the same bag. Do you find this to be true in the UK? Second question, I frequently travel and see duty free store for designer brands. Do you find these are less expensive or is it just the tax savings? Grateful for your expertise, Sacha from Canada 🇨🇦

Hello lovely Sacha! I can well imagine that some of the outlet goods are lower quality and never went on ‘general sale’. I saw a program on it in the U.K. a few weeks back where they cut a pair of outlet uggs in half, along with a pair from the ‘real’ store. The composition was different and the materials in the outlet version was lesser quality. But then some stores actually sell unsold stock that is quality. Regards to duty free, I find it’s just the tax you save. I hope this helps! Hugs xx❤️

I was 7 minutes into the video thinking it was wrapping up as everywhere was busy only to realise its 35 minutes long 😂 you treat us! Sloane Street has opened their new Dior but tbh its nothing special, a nice store...not huge, not small, just....is.

Ecstatic of the mall/village shopping center seems very quaint. Americans would find it cute ( as we only have the multi layer malls going up). At least it looks clean. 🇺🇸
