I enjoyed this video. I LOVE used bookstores, and the more cluttered the better. 😅I'm interested in reading 'The Kindest Lie,' 'What's Mine and Yours.' 'Out There Screaming' sounds interesting. I read 'A Girl is a Body of Water', and I really enjoyed it (ARC), but I want the hardback to add to my collection. You will enjoy it. 'Washington Black', and 'Red at the Bone' is on my bookshelf, waiting for me to pick it up.

Very cool video! I love used book stores - you just never know what you're going to find!

I hope you enjoy it! It’s a little strange, but I liked it. I am definitely feeling better every day. I feel pretty much back to normal, but my doctor keeps reminding me that I have to take it easy for a solid two weeks more.

Ok, I definitely got wonderfully distracted during the video just looking at all the beautiful books behind you! It's so colorful! And fun to recognize which I've read. Love that your Mom and you did a bookish road trip, that's so sweet and fun. Also the perfect premise for a cozy novel. I'm so jealous of all the beautiful bookstores you visited! Thanks for taking us along :) I love that you're a chef! I love cooking and baking and reading about food too. I'm really interested in Slow Noodles and Her Body and Other Parties! I have a couple Mariana Enriquez books on my list too. Love the cafe at Books on the Bosque but I love the vibe of Downtown Books! I'd be all over that classics closet lol.

Thank you for this lovely comment! I’m glad you like the bookshelves. They bring me a lot of joy. Yes! Roadtrips with my mom are a blast. It was fun focusing on all books. (I have a couple of videos of all the little free libraries we visited on the road trip too if you’re interested) Nice! I only ever bake as a hobby. I’m definitely much more in the savory side of things. Yes to Mariana Enriquez. I love her writing!

Alllllll the bookstores, I love it! There's a ton of potential in that haul. I loved Washington Black.

I have spent a lot of time at Downtown Books (I think it went under a different name when I was there last in the mid -90s), but Books on the Bosque looks newer. Nice though! I reminds me of some of the plaza bookstores in Taos. My favorite bookstore in Albuquerque was long lost Best Price Books and Coffee on the corner of Central and University (I think it is a vape shop now) - that place was amazing. Sorry you did not make it a little further south in your road trip - Xochitl's Books in Truth or Consequences and COAS books in Las Cruces are MUST visits. Thank you for the video.

Oh how cool! I had no idea it previously had a different name. Books on the Bosque is definitely a newer shop. I seem to end up in NM every few years, so I’ll add those shops to the list of places to check out next time. :)
