Building his empire arpund Prospero. This was so bad the Grey knights and the Dark Angels teamed up to send a strike-team. This stopped the ritual, but was beaten with heavy losses and Magnus secured his position in Real Space. That is something!

Hey, throwing cannon fodder at the enemy until they drown in corpses is a legitimate strategy. Just ask the Guard.

1) If I recall the Nexus abilities can also be reversed where it boost Psychic energy, Thousand Sons may not know about it at the time but if they do find out going to hit this place extra hard. 2) Magnus did things in the Psychic Awakening where he tried to boost up Psykers and fought Dark Angels & Grey Knights. So he could also continue that plan/story now with the Psyker booster. 3) Those Automana would be cool, I did honestly think we would see them get a 30K/HH model in a 40K version this setting but was looking more at Khentani. 4) I wonder if this will mean the Thousand Sons will be the first of Mono-God Chaos Space Marine factions to be added.

I really hope his codex absorbs the iron warriors and has data sheets for traitor iron hands and comes with a bunch of new daemons similar to the soulgrinder

Thousand Sons getting to use their automata from Horus Heresy in 40K and not the Adeptus Mechanicus would actually be hilarious and also make me sad.

The Thousand Sons deciding to enact Tzeentch’s will and prevent Vashtorr’s ascension + The Thousand Sons deciding to wake up a bunch of super-powered daemonic automata = Pure Tzeentchian Logic

Maybe this could tie in with the Thousand Sons presence in Space Marine 2?

God I hope so. I will be hyped to see more of my dusty boys after Space marine 2.

Knowing GW though, they'll have all the big talk about TS getting battle automata, but won't get a single official datasheet.

I wonder if the new focus on Magnus has anything to do with the space marine 2 game. Seems like an easy marketing tool for selling TS when that game launches. It could also be setting up for dark mech or IW maybe.

Castellax-Achaea are some of the best models in the 30k HH range, would be great to have corrupted versions, shame that this doesn't hint at osiron/psychic dreadnoughts though since presumably they too would be affected by the nexus.

Yes, but these are _Tzeentchian_ battle automata. They’re juiced up on magic runes and spells that should safeguard them against Vashtorr.

Hope this is truly a teaser of new units the TS will get.

I think it’s because Vashtorr is actually a C’Tan shard (possibly of the Void Dragon) that got banished to the Warp and was tainted by its influence. We do know that the Imperium has done that before.

Personally, I love the new Tsons range in Legions. They feel really unique, as opposed to before where it was “put as many psychic units on the board as possible, and hope that your opponent isn’t Sisters of Silence or Space Wolves”.
