I think plaster can also be used instead of wood for the mould. Because it is cost-effective to turn the plaster mold into powder again and make a different mold.

The sand is mixed with sodium silicate solution, the gas in the hose is carbon dioxide, it hardens the sodium silicate. steve

I’m so impressed with you guys and the work you do. Sand molded casting of the sizes you produce look quite large but equipment is still produced by similar techniques today. I have done lost wax casting using bronze, brass & aluminium the biggest being about 30kg. Keep producing your content.
Why the Speed change a lot ?? You can tell by the Blower fan noise ... Set once and leave it there.
