If you haven't see the news yet Harbor Freight has recalled over 454,000 jack stands made between 2013 and 2019 and this poses a huge safety concern for many. If you or know anyone with these jack stands please STOP using them immediately and take them back to your local Harbor Freight store for a full refund via gift card. We would hate to see anyone of our friends or family get seriously hurt or injured. If you have any more questions or concerns feel free to send them an email at recall@horborfreight.com.

I always use extra stands anyway when I can and also leave jack and put tire under car when possible

Wonder if it applies to car jacks too. I have a small red Pittsburg one and it gave out awhile back. Ima have to call them up because y'a it's a safety issue.
