When Rachel brought a huge dog Olaf to the farm, he had no friends as other senior dogs would not play with him. Until one day, this sweet cat named Boots stepped in and picked Olaf as his buddy. No one expected them to be this close, but now, Olaf and Boots are constant cuddle bugs who share naps and massage sessions.

We have three canines and one cat who thinks she’s a dog. She tries to get them to chase her, but frankly I think they’re a little cautious of her. When they’re eating, she’ll coming racing in from another room and jump over one of them. She’s a brat. A crazy calico, named Mochi. They are all Japanese hunting dogs called Kai Ken. They’re bred to hunt boar, but they don’t discriminate, they’ll hunt anything. They’re certainly killers, sorry to say. It’s an instinct with them. But they must not consider her a cat, or she’s just that scary 😂. All four pets sit for cheese treats, in a row.

@@phreethinker1 had to google the breed. Stunning dogs, love the brindle pattern. They look 🤓 smart, so I'm not surprised they understand your kitty is a family member and is not to be chased. Do you use them for hunting? If not how do you keep them occupied? I imagine they would turn into real menaces if bored.

Those black and white kitties often have an over abundance of love and act like dogs sometimes. I've known many of them and they always seem to black and white ones.

I’m sure many if not most cat lovers would have stories to share about their own intuitive cats who rush to give comfort to the person in the family who is suffering in some way ,or how those who are not cat lovers with whom they share the house will get love bombed into submission . Indeed personalities differ among all animals but when you get one who is a lover you get a treasure 🥰

I love this ! I have three dogs - two of which are pit bulls and 8 cats - everyone gets along - my one cat even has a girlfriend that is a snake. It’s adorable he just stares at her and she sticks her tongue out at him.

So happy to see their friendships. I learned years ago that dogs want companions. Since then, until now, I have had at least 2 dogs. My dog now, loved her "sister." But after she passed, he has shown that he doesn't want to share ME with other dogs. So, I’m back to just one. I tried adopting a female but he didn't want her here, so for the first time in my life, I had to return a pup. It made ME very sad, but he was glad she was gone.

Our old big mixed breed [Snoopy] was left on dads butcher shop door as a pup, we then took on a half feral cat [Snowy]. Snowy would guard Snoopy from all foes and sit between Snoopy's front paws. Snowy acted more like a dog than a cat, but he'd rub up against Snoop and waft his tail about. Yes, we named Snoopy before learning he was a girl 💞

❤❤❤❤ Awe!! I have a Great Pyrenees named Griffith aka Griffie lol. And he has been raised as an indoor dog along with a small Cairn Terrier and small Chihuahua mix and a fat cat named Jude who happens to be also be a black n white short hair lol. So this 70 lbs whopper of a dog acts like tiny siblings 😅. Except obviously he's not tiny. But his protective guard dog instincts are 100% there. And just like the Great Pyrenees in the video, Griffie prefers our cat, Jude, to play and cuddle with... And me 😍

I have an older Pomeranian boy and got a black Pom- chi 2 yrs ago, a girl. Those 2 grower and play together, follow each other around and so much more. My little pup lays on top of my boy and they are just so close. Always get 2 dogs. Oh they both chase my adopted older cat. Life is good and they are my babies. ❤❤
