At the beginning of the video he was hopeless and didn't even try escape when the lady came up to him but once he started getting loose you could tell he had his hope back, flapping his flippers and trying to leave. Turtles are amazing creatures!

It likely flapped its arms when it first got stuck, because it seemed tired there, it wasn't flapping his arms or trying to escape when they showed up. This means it was likely stuck their for quite some time

Sea Turtles are actually quite friendly to humans in the water and will often come close to investigate you. Even allow to pet them.

I was disappointed to see 2 turtles ran over in the Mojave desert last year. Both within the same week on a rarely traveled road. It was irritating to say the least, because they weren't small turtles and it was a long straight road so they would've been seen from a good distance. Whoever ran them over was trying to. And this is after going for quite a few years without seeing any.

Wonderful couple.... Those turtles weigh a ton; boulders are easier, to move---believe me... Worked as a Summer Zoo assistant.... And, they bite, HARD...!!! This guy knew he was in good hands....

Dunkelherz true. Even us humans. Part of a lifeguard’s training when rescuing a drowning person is how to grab them without putting themselves at risk, because a person who is drowning will act on instinct and flail around and attempt to grab at the lifeguard if they’re given a chance.

It was the most beautiful sight to see that big turtle get splashed by the ocean again! So absolutely marvelous!!! You two are my heroes. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

James Mara The turtle didn't look fat but like healthy, normal naturally large sized turtle. Their shells must be very heavy and make up a lot of their weight..Fat shaming a turtle only on the internet 😂.

Black Sheep I’d rather praise humans who used their brain and realised that with the sea level was rising, the turtle could have easily swam out without intervention from any human, like they’ve been doing for thousands of years. Well I've seen on some docummentaries and videos that turtles help each other when they're flipped upside down. So the concept of "help" is probably more familiar to them and many species of animals than we might think.

Things like this restore my faith in humanity to a certain degree.

You Guys are awesome.. Saving that precious turtles life was truly heartfelt. They are amazing and literally are one of Gods most beautiful creations. Amazing!

After watching news coverage of 29 people dying within 24 hours, this is a refreshing break from sad news. Thank you.

How do you expect that a giant green sea turtle had been picked up from the ocean and jammed between rocks like that? It’s virtually impossible considering the weight of the poor thing . Hater

This was a special blick in the eye of this turtle who might outlive this very friendly couple.

When the turtle was being helped, how it flapped it’s fins/arms as if it mattered got me😪😂😭😭🤣, felt for it and it was funny. We have all being in such situation . Poor thing, bless you guys❤️

THIS IS ANIMAL CRUELTY! that poor turtle was relaxing in its spot and these horrible humans... as bad as Greenpeace protesters ... decide to take the turtle out of its safe spot which it decided to go into when the tide was up. Like imagine sitting down and these people start pushing you out your seat that's basically what happened in this video! now that turtle has to find a new place to rest... Report and dislike this horrible video!

We don't know anything about them. In the best case, they really helped the turtle, and even though it was a normal thing to do, they put the rescue on KZread because of their narcissism. In the worst case, they trapped the turtle and then they turn on the camera.

I don't know anybody who wouldn't help save a trapped animal.

Humans are usually more kind to unfortunate animals than we were a couple thousand years ago.

OMG It hurt my heart to see him stuck. Thank you so much for being in the right place to help that poor baby.
