Get one. You won't regret it. I was keeping mine stock lol. At least that's what I said when I bought it in August. I just finished all the bolt on's I can actually get gains from today. Put me at 387. Now a fuel pump upgrade and the Hondata kit or else I'm tapped out power wise. I had 2 Si's before this and it's they're not even comparable to the R

@@phonglam4889, I drive mine to work everyday. No problems at all. Drive it like a normal car and you'll even get good gas mileage. Full bolt on's and tuned I'm getting 28 to 29 MPG

You need to heat wrap the downpipe and front exhaust aswell the turbo.. Its a common mistake but the exhaust runs close to the oil pan and causes overheating issues. Especially if you plan on taking it to the track

I have a question have guys ever tried to put like 2 gallons of e85 on a completely stock car and stock ecu and dynoed it to see if it actually makes any power?

You can be FBO with no tune??

Can you shed some light on the BOV myth?

I'm late to the party but is there any drawbacks from running the HKS bov? any lights on or rough running/idle?

Don’t run a BOV on these cars, they really don’t mix well with them. If you’re doing it for the noise just add an intake like the PRL one for example.

That should be around 400/400 after tuning. More if E30 is available. I'm fully bolt on and upgraded turbo. Looking to push 500 after tuning

How do you pay to put your sticker on the car?

A little skeptical here on the 40hp gain that you claimed from the mods. Most dynos that I have seen after boltons yield very little if any horsepower gain without tuning.

It’s the downpipe. Even without a tune downpipes normally give a fairly good increase sense it’s connected to the turbo and removing restrictions. It’s not good to run it for too long though, because you can run into overboost

No, the Bosch-ECU is quite open-minded, if Hardware removes some restrictions around the K20C1. My FK2R with nearly the same Motor had 360 PS with FBO before ecu-tune.

@@gt-r9035 You are wrong about the ECU. Your modded dyno numbers don't mean much without a run before the modifications in the same conditions and same dyno. The inability of the FK8 to make power without a tune has been documented a lot by reputable tuners as well as other shops. Hondata has said it, DRob from IMW has said it etc. The maker of this video most likely did a poor job at interpreting the results or did a poor job at keeping the conditions the same.

Yeah, its nonsense & just a part more wich can fail and because it's installed after the maf, the engine is often running 2 fat... & if it's not regulary maintained it will fail.

I installed a Mountune Catback, intercooler, charge pipes and an induction all the way to the turbo with a remap and gained 25bhp on my MK3 Focus RS
