Just bought my first bag of Pennies from my LCS, all I found so far was a nice cud on a 1947 wheat cent! Only got thru about 100 Pennies out of the bag so far! Have a Great Day My Friend!!

I went thru 10,000 pennies this week. Not kidding 10,000. I found a few coins. One was a 1936 also. One box was incredible. Every roll had multiple wheats. Pulled out 1919 a 1929 lol and more. 1 penny is so old and worn i can only tell its a wheat penny. Not sure what to do with that one. 1934/1935 in surprisingly goid shape. Mite have those graded. Like ur channel for ur honesty.

The pick up point for the 1936 double die is the broken "R" in liberty. Of course it cant be determined by the video. However all the 1936 double dies of significance have the broken R....just saying. Ive been collecting errors and varieties since 1967 and it really pays off to buy the error coin books that give information on the entire minting process as it makes understanding and properly identifying error coins easy. So many amateur collectors are selling misidentified junk coins so beware and know what your buying and know your sellers. I spend a lot of time disappointing collectors that have tried to sell me their collections and that can be a rough deal dealing out disappointment. I also recommend, if possible, to visit a mint. Collecting errors and varieties can be a profitable and worthwhile hobby if a little effort is put into understanding the minting process.

As I watched your video I got inspired and I went to Wells Fargo 2 days ago and got 2 boxes of Lincoln Cents. Found almost 50 wheat cents in the 2 boxes and low and behold I pulled out an Extra Fine 1972 P Double Die just now tonight when I went through the rolls. This is HUGE !!! Thank you for getting me back into it.

I have a few no mint mark 1936 Wheaties I need to over look. Some of the dates seem bigger than the others.

The 55 double die is one of the most valuable wheat pennies and I sold one in ms-64 red for quite a bit of money it was graded by NGC. It has since gone up even more so if you have one ungraded get it graded by NGC or PCGS and hold on to it!

I found, on the street a 1943 silver quarter DOUBLE DIE OBVERSE WORTH 300-1000 DOLLARS BASED ON ITS CONDITION.

At what point does 1939 become double stamp as in all 1936 pennies or a set series?

If that '36 is a double die, I'd be a millionaire. I have many just like it. Granted it has a planchet alignment that is a little wonky but, seriously not a double die. If you sold that 1936 I'd like to know what you got for it. I've collected, bought and sold coins commercially for almost 40 years and I don't see that as a double die. The date isn't sharp and looks a little flattened, possibly due to oil-filled die but more than likely the die was over-used, which was frequently done.

All I saw were a small die crack, machine doubling and die deterioration. I don't think most so called youtube coin collectors know the difference. A lot of misinformation out there which I was not aware of when I first started thanks to youtube posers like this. If you're new to coin collecting like me just use wexlers website. It has numerous examples of what errors REALLY should look like. Only took a few days to learn. It's not rocket science.

Wow, just recently went through 5000 wheats first time in awhile. Found a red 1910 in I'm estimating a MS-61. How much would you think the 36 DD is worth? When I was searching through that I put aside all the S mint coins in the bag. Lol I guess it's the reverse over on the West Coast. The only two DD's I've found or "cherry picked" was a 1951 DD Reverse (Estimate) MS-63 Franklin for silver price and a 1922-D semi key. Nice finds! -MSS
