Every video should start with toenails flying across the screen. I love the fact that I didnt see any negative comments about that shot. Every real bow hunter knows it can happen. The adrenalin gets going and those invisible little branches sneak out there. You should never a bad shot stop you from taking another, just learn from it. Love the show guys, thanks for no commercials today.

Aaron is one of my favorite hunters. From years of watching him hunt I know the guy doesn’t take shots that he thinks are iffy so I trust he made the right call. Obviously the shot didn’t go as planned but unfortunately that’s part of bow hunting. The fact that he feels so bad just shows how much respect he has for the animals he hunts.

Man that's rough! I had a frontal shot at about 25 yards on a nice bull on the second day of the second archery hunt here in NM. I was terrified of doing exactly what that limb caused his arrow to do in the video and hit that shoulder. I eneded up not taking the shot and he ran off. After seeing how horrible Aaron felt, I'm glad I didn't chance it.

If I heard that correct, earlier in the video it was said that you broke the shoulder/leg but at the end of the video, you are talking about the other options for the next day. I am extremely disappointed and surprised to hear that on this channel. That elk wasn't just marginally hit but it was actually crippled. You own it to that bull to hunt him for a couple days and at least try to locate him and try to get another shot or even just determine if it is a survivable injury. There has to be some respect for the animal.

My husband commented first and i hear the ethics of being an archer on this B$R epi$$ode went out the window. You leave the bull out there with a broad head in his shoulder, you sleep with that every night. Shoulda tried harder-even launch all your arrows, leave blood trail and retrieve bull or left it out. But to give up and keep going on tag? Don't come to the coast of Oregon and play that $hit on a Rosie!

If you look really close and watch the video @ 16:48 sec’s you’ll see a small projectile flying on the same path as the arrow, but ahead of the arrow. It almost looks as if the broadhead snapped off before the arrow hit the bull. Could be why that arrow didn’t penetrate. Just a thought.

Watching this episode brings back memories that most hunters, including myself, of 2nd guessing shot selections and spending hours tracking an animal that you results in no luck. We never want this to happen as hunters. Keep your head up and best of luck in future episodes. Hope you get a chance at redemption.

Man I know what it's like to wound an animal and have to track him for hours . My first elk was just like that , I shot him in the knee . We tracked him for 5 hours and finally got him . Sometimes there was no blood at all , we had to rely on his tracks . It sucks but , it can be done.

Love everything about BRO but sorry that shot angle was terrible! Not that it hasn't happen to all of us, to much adrenaline can lead to poor decisions sometimes! I feel for ya, that was a nice bull! Good luck this year to the whole crew!

Uggg...the frontal shot! Can be so deadly but also can be a high percentage shot of not being lethal if it doesnt connect...he was definitely close enough for it to be possible that dang pesky tree :(
