Would it be smart to start protesting for Rengar to be fixed like Shen and Vel'Koz mains did? Over 40+ bugs on the champ alone and half the items don't work properly on him.

Are there certain matchups where you still go grasp? And is Phase Rush still an option when faced a Trundle for example?

Unfortunately it doesn't work properly on Rengar 😔 Similar to Navori, the item is SO overloaded it MIGHT be okay despite this, but ya. LAME!!!

I believe against a champ like jax who excells in longer trading you would rather have the short burst of double w. That plus his cancerous e which you have to deal with which negates q damage and stuns you, so maxing w lowers its cooldown making it easier to deal with.
