HUAXIN H-950 Demo Songs

Ғылым және технология

AD: Welcome to "Database on Electronic Keyboard Models and Demo Songs": demodb.org
This video is a demonstration of the HUAXIN H-950 keyboard built-in 20 demo songs. This keyboard's functionality and operate logic suggests early MEDELI toy keyboard solution, yet there is nothing similar to "MC" printed on the PCB or the COB chip board. Just like MC-28A, it also has the PCM samples of solfège and are used in the last demo song. You can also invoke them by pressing the EFFECT button, however they are not aligned in the C major keyboard (note the printings above the keyboard).
1. Happy Birthday to You
2. Silent Night
3. Jingle Bells
4. Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
5. Minuet in G Major (J.S. Bach)
6. Oh, My Darling Clementine
7. Old MacDonald Had a Farm
8. Frère Jacques
9. Mary Had a Little Lamb
10. Symphony No. 9 IV. Finale: Ode to Joy
11. Turkey in the Straw
12. Lightly Row
13. Dona Dona
14. Oh! Susanna
15. Frühlingslied
16. Spring from Four Seasons
17. Romance d'Amour
18. Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin
19. Do Re Mi
20. London Bridge Is Falling Down (with solfège as the lead tone)

This keyboard is like a souped-up My Music Center and sounds like it uses the same chip solution. Speaking of, I found out a while ago the chip used in the My Music Center and it's variants is actually from Sunplus, it's known as the Soundplus SPF Series. it's an 8-bit speech/melody IC which has 4 channels that can play 8 programmable music tones as well as compressed ADPCM or non-compressed PCM speech (retrieved this info from an archive of Sunplus' official site circa 1998).

Thx for the info about them, I only researched SunPlus because they also did ICs for LCD handhelds.

@@pmd9801 They were also responsible for the hardware used in the VTech V-Smile and a lot of plug-and-play game consoles.

I guess this IC was quite mass produced because I believe they were used in many different case variants

Thanks for the information, very interesting. Also, question, I have recently added to my collection one of the HS series toddler keyboards, that are kind of the newer version of the first act discovery, and I was wondering, if there was a certain combination you could hold down to get The three additional high notes ivory wise, and as Easter eggs, one key versions of the last three demo melodies that aren't normally accessible with the 19 white keys, Swallow, Dusk are you sleeping. I've tried multiple different button combos but have had no luck so far, so if you know of a combo I could hold down to maybe get those three one key play melodies as Easter eggs, let me know please, thanks. By the way, mine is the concerto HS3260 model.

@@spatcherw.keyboardsandbaby8586 I don't have those keyboards yet so I wouldn't know. BTW The company that makes those HS series keyboards is Quanzhou Junfa Electronic Technology.

Only after Do Re Mi do you actually hear a "do-re-mi" voice singing along to the music.

Interesting, the metronome voice appears to be sampled from the second to original ultmost talking calculator. The one made after the original 91 model but before they switched to the current voice they now use on all low vision aids.

I like this keyboard all ready, I had a 1999 smaller version of the my music centre, the third song was london bridge instead and the 6th song was twinkle twinkle littel star

Does the "Piano" sound on this sound identical to the one found in the Meowsic?

The number samples sound like the ones used in some ultmost talking calculator units.

so this is the same as the Steepletone SEK-929. now I know what it sounds like. I've seen at least 3 different case variants, one of wich is this one, and Superb Sound EK-350, same keyboard but the colors are different. but the Steepletone SEK-929 looks like the Consertmate 410, however the buttons are labeled differently plus diffrent colored case and buttons.

Ahhh seems like that's it! So very likely another MEDELI early product, just HUAXIN did more in customization from the OEM

BTW, none of these keyboards were ever released here in the US, or if they were it is very likely a small number of them were made during the late 90s and is now extreamly rare unlike the Medeli MC-32.
