Just a small comment. I think it would be better for you to have Huawei on one side and iPhone on the other without flipflopping. Some categories, you put the Huawei on the left, and others Huawei is on the right. Really confusing and we have to keep track of which is which.

yeah I considered doing it both ways. decided to try this one with more randomization to try and keep watcher brain engaged. I"m working on the iPhone 15 Pro Max camera comp now. on this one I'll try keeping it consistent :)

The Mate 60 Pro Camera is amazing. It's crazy to see how far China and Huawei have come in terms of smartphone technology. The iPhone used to be leagues ahead of Huawei phones. But now Huawei is slowly and steadily catching up. It's no longer far behind and if Apple's not careful. This Chinese phone might end up beating them at their own game.

iPhone was never leagues ahead of Huawei 😂, maybe when they had the P10/Mate 10 but since the Mate 20, the Huawei has handily dusted iPhone, especially as far as photography is concerned, iPhone still leads the pack with the video

not sure. but the huawei founder has talked in the past how he isn't urgent in being in the US market or other markets because china is already such a big market. with the Mate60 Pro they might have limited distribution due to the limits of how many they can produce?

I think there are two reasons, both due to the US embargo: 1. Huawei cannot use the Android operating system and Google applications (gmail, drive) or Facebook, the apps that most users in the world are using. 2. Huawei is having to produce its own chips and does not have a strong manufacturing process to produce advanced mobile chips (below 5 nanometer) in large quantities to compete with apple bionic, qualcomm or mediatek.

you should compare the Mate 60 Pro Plus to the Iphone 15 pro max.

I'm giving the Huawei a chance for now as my android. iPhone is still my main driver since alll my workflow it currently on it, @@short_music_official.

Hands down that this is the best phone I ever owned. No other phone comes close to this phone. It's truly amazing. (Mate 60 pro+).

Yeah the 12mp iPhone ultra wide macro is just awful. Zoom this Huawei best the 14pro max but the 15 pro max added 5x zoom now and is better than the Huawei.

Yeah definitely aspect of personal preference. I also value video higher for my needs 👍🏼

Huawei has extra saturated color like all the Chinese phones while iphones have pretty natural pics with extra high definitions so the iPhone clearly wins in the camera section.

A lot of people like the more saturated colors and feel that means a camera is better but I think once apple added the photographic styles feature it isn’t a problem for iOS anymore as now you have choice. I don’t understand why apple refuses to add beauty filter features though as that is a necessity these days

@@VisionProGamingGuy Extra saturated color must be choice female and male tik-tokers But people like us bloody hate any kind of unnatural color or filter effects.. You are right Chinese phones are designed to attract the majority of Asian brown or pale color people but at the same it is very fake manipulative for any person to identify . Additionally these phones doesn't pick accurate color . That's overall downside of extra saturated color boss . Apple is doing best in their field .

You could have turned RAW photos on Iphone to get 48mp... I love Mate but please be fair. Iphone is better at filming Mate is better overall

yeah the main camera difference isn't much. but on the telephoto and ultra wide the Mate has much higher resolution . 48mp vs 12mp. this makes a big difference for ultra wide MACRO and long digital zoom usages.

I think that P60 pro camera is much better than Mate

yeah I have to really watch myself when I do these comparisons and make sure I’m not judging just because I’m more accustomed to iOS.

In HUAWEI MATE 60PRO, the HDR in the video settings should be turned off. It makes the videos look blown out of proportion.

Xmage was definitely off. Yeah I was surprised the images were all blown out too. I tried my best to turn off hdr features on both phones. This test was also like 7 months ago so Huawei may have updated their software to make a difference since then

There is a setting on the Huawei called screen resolution. You forget to set this to High instead of Smart resolution. If you set on High Huawei will win every category you just mentioned on this video. lol

Where is this setting. I don’t see anything. There’s only aspect ratio. Audio control. And capture smiles. For video there’s video resolution which I used 4K and framerate. Hef. HDR.

Ok I found it but the smart resolution is for the screen display and is not related to the photo/video resolution I believe. let me know if that is incorrect.

@@VisionProGamingGuy Yes it's for the screen resolution. It depends how you are evaluating the difference and viewing the photos? If you say you have taken both photos and compared it using the same monitor on a PC then it's good and unbiased. The viewing experience makes a difference. Also photo evaluation is subjective. It's like comparing Nikon to Canon to Sony photos. Some people like natural look whilst others like vivid colours of Canon.

I'm still learning android/harmonOS so tried to stay away from the advanced features this first vid. When I receive my iPhone 15 Pro Max I'll do a comparison of the more advanced features.

I will say HUAWEI Wins Cuz we can lock the focus and Low the iso Or using pro mode in video to Low iso/ But HUAWEI Have to fix this issue anyway new cpu a new fix.

for me I like doing video more and the huawei wasn't as good in video. that's well established and agreed by this point. in fact it's pretty much agreed in chinese social media even the huawei photos aren't that good. in tele for sure it beat the iPhone 14 Pro Max. I own both phones and try not to be biased but there's certain items where probably some of my preferences have been molded by my main phone, iPhone, the last decade.

I think the Huawei cameras are pretty good actually. was pretty competitive with the iPhone 14 Pro Max. I have another review comparing it to the iPhone 15 Pro Max as well.

No what I mean is that the Huawei camera evolved way before apple but nowadays it's struggling with apple where lica where it's unbeatable zoom camera where it's unbeatable night mode where it's half a decade ago already pixel binning technology got upgraded. I have more expectations with Huawei and its delivery the one of the worst camera experiences out there😔😔
