flat screen, centred rear caeras, Fps might be too close to bottom lense, 64gb onboard only, no IP rasting, hp jack, quiet?? single bottom speaker lacking bass, 3D face cam, no OIS, lowlight mixed AI switching?, BOKE change during shot and after, selfies too soft?, no 4k30, EIS..

its refreshing in this day and age that will live to have unbiased and honest reviews I had mixed feelings about this phone and 2 SONY's XA2 but not anymore :)

Everything about this device is great: smooth performance with multi tasking , great camera and the battery is still like the first day. After 2 years with that phone and overall 6 years with Huawei devices I finally move to other brand. I will miss you Huawei

I've a random question. If you install Spotify on this phone, can you get the concert hall effect and surround sound effect in the equalizer settings on the Spotify app? I've a Samsung phone and I'm thinking of changing to this Mate 20 Lite. This is a feature I always use on Spotify. I'm just not sure if only Samsung phones have it. It could work on all androids, anyone know if that's the case? I know for a fact the iOS Spotify version doesn't have it

the funny things is though that these lite phones go on sale often. One of my family members just got this phone for 1 dollar and then pays about 5 dollars extra for 6 months for her subscription. At new retail price they are not worth it, but they always seem to go on sale where they are a good deal

Does anyone know if this particular Huawei phone supports USA LTE BANDS? I need bands 2, 4, 5, 12, 17. Amazon says it does. Others say it doesn't. I just bought a Huawei Mate SE and it works great in the USA with LTE, but I know that many of Huawei's phones do NOT support the bands I need. And Amazon's LTE bands are usually incorrect. I learned that the hard way. I've gone to 5 different cell phone sites to look up LTE Bands and I've got 5 different answers! I just got my Huawei Mate SE, but for not much more I can get this phone. Better camera, USB-C instead of Micro SD, bigger screen, bigger battery, more updated software. I assume it has or will have Android Pie? My Huawei Mate SE doesn't support 5Ghz WiFi. So yeah, now that I know I like Huawei, I don't mind spending extra for a better model. I can still send my Mate SE back. Also, my Mate SE does something weird.... When opening an app, the screen brightness will go down a little bit. Yes the automatic brightness is turned off so I'm not sure why it is doing this.

@aisha sorry to bother you, just wanted to ask you if your videos look blurry. I got a mate20lite and the first day it was perfect, but after 2 days every video plays pixelated and its blurry, for example on twitch, youtube, instagram etc. Just wanted to know if anyone else is having the same problem or is it just me!

Megapixels dont make a camera, the aperture of the lens does, The aperture is more important than the megapixel count even though they go hand in hand

Maxxi Driver not necessarily. It makes it brighter and better for low light but smaller apertures r better for day

Mate 20 lite

HDR on rear camera not work well. You cant see much of a difference from normal picture. Other problem is screen dimming on apps like Instagram, Facebook, Chrome etc.

I just bought the Mate 20 Lite for £100. I had a Samsung J6+ before i bought this phone. The Mate 20 Lite feels like an upgrade over the J6+ in terms of speed, build quality and performance. I'm happy with it.

It depends. There are cheap low quality displays u can get for around 30 euros but if u want the original glass which I recommend its 140 euros. It would be best to buy a new phone in that case

If you buy it from your country, yes

Must be Huawei that make something wrong with the camera software. Its a 20mp sensor but takes lorse image even than mine 12mp Moto X4. Pictures from Moto is much more detailed and sharp. Hope they put some updates for camera.

I like this phone but right now it's price is a bit overblown considering the specs.

Leica is written near the lenses of all phones using leica lenses..if leica is not written then the phone doesn't use it

Complete agree with this video great phone if you can find it cheap enough and the camera is the most disappointing thing about this phone other then that it’s a solid 8/10 phone.
