great tutorial, worked out perfectly. watch out for the antenna cable though, i cut mine by accident and had to replace it with a cable from another phone.

I ripped off the antenna connector and had to solder the wire back onto the circuit board (nightmare)

When I have done this I can't seem to separate the speaker at the top of the front screen from the screen. On the vid it looks like this stays connected to the middle section of the phone but it seems to be connected to the screen itself on my phone even though I have got the same model number as above (could it be different in the UK?). Any ideas?

Yes you could, just try til you're abel to pull out the screen.

what if the touch screen doesn't work at all? how do i turn it off before proceeding?

When I put the new screen it doesn't fit very well. I think it is the glue which I am trying to remove but it's not very easy. I have removed most of it but still doesn't sit well and there is a little gap 😔

That phone is diff though, is that crack deep? Mine had a corner crack and a spot of dead pixels appeared... Edit: if you don't have a heat gun, a hair dryer is best... If the temp of your hair dryer is 100° c, heat it for 5 mins. Mine worked brilliantly, I just save a hundred dollars on removing the screen...

Dirty jog. Customers don't see how much glue have under LCD :D

What a fucking screw up ideea from Huawei, to put the display connector on the back of the phone... They could just put the connector on the front, so you would simply take only the display off, connected, and then glue back again...

I hate the music never use it again
