Was the magnitude of support far greater than what US government has ever provided to the American business entities? And has any government ever attacked any American business entity like the way US has attacked Huawei including kidnapping the CFO?

Interesting that Nvidia says that Huawei is its top competitor. When the US banned the export of Nvidia's top of the line AI chips, it thought it had killed China's rise in artificial intelligence applications and cloud computing. Instead, China is the genie out of the bottle and there is no way to put him back. China's dragon has as its secret weapon, its huge rising academic human resources, from college professors to researchers to application engineers and experienced technicians, China has the depth to explore and lead the various tech venues to lead their advances, the US does not. One of the reasons TSMC cannot put its new fabs in Arizona operation, is the fact that it cannot get enough skilled American engineers to work at TSMC.

When the US banned Huawei I was using a Huawei phone and did not buy another handset from them due the lack of US softwre I was used to. But to me Huawei tech was always ahead of the game so I bought a Huawei fitness tracker that didn't need US apps and I am still very happy with it. I would be happy to get a Huawei phone again in the future.

China Huawei is now rolling out 5.5G trials in South East Asia.

Google thinks they can take over "Hotel California" India ... 😅

My Anglo-Saxon neighbóur in Australia is a top technologist in an international cybersecurity service provider designer based in Australia told me about the 2,000 dollar he spent on a Samsung Fold phone, which he thought as poorly designed and manufactured, the bang for bucks were the lowest in his life of buying technology gadgets. He considered it as far far behind the Xiaomi Poco one his GF is using. He also feels very strongly that basing on his Huawei phones he bought and used before the govt ban, they were the best phones in the market measured by design and longevity, that thevprohibition is such an injustice and deprivation of the quality products the market and citizenry are so craving and deserving.

Just visited Huawei's Beijing flagship store in Wangfujing and they even have their EV cars on display where you can sit in them! 😮 BTW, Huawei store is right across an Apple store.😅

I doubt that google is really worried about huawei as googles main revenue is from search engine and ads. Google is an advertising company first. Google pixel phones is an after thought for them and a very small percentage of their profit margin.

You are not getting it, it goes beyond Huawei boundaries, decentralised open source OpenHarmony and Oniro by OpenAtom and Eclipse Foundation, that is the killer operating systems on Google Android where it changes the business model of devices forever, away from Google ads + services to Ecosystem devices + services under the broad IoT space with the strong phone ecology in the centre of this strategy.

Harmony Os next will be a new Os from Scratch with dedicated apps i heard of its correct we need to wait and see. Emui for global will still be Aosp and build on Android for app support. They have enough customers and App developers to get this to work within China

Nokia didnt have restrictions to not use Google Apps or chip manufacturing but they fail for Pick windows phone and stay on the plattform but they didnt support Android apps from the beginning and no app support thats why it fail in Europe thats why Huawei stop sold in Sweden atleast for no Gms and App support are to bad and customers want to use app and update it easy. App Gallery dont have the apps they want and if you install apk instead you dont get notifications and not full support on some apps that dont work correctly thats why some app developers took away there apk apps from App Gallery for best user experience so they dont contact them and complaints this restrictions.
