Hauwei already told U that it's Kirin 9010 is already 5nm. Just buy one and open the system menu and it will show 5nm. SMIC is going to 3nm by VGAA.

Thats not correct Kirin 9010 are 7 nm but Kirin 9100 rumours are 5 nm and it will get launched in October with Mate 70 pro

@@sguser65 He does not have to respond to you because he is 100% correct, when I was electronic engineer for 30yrs you could not buy a pick and place machine under 100k in the last few years I bought a desktop pick and place for 4k... They make it at 25 times cheaper. If you are in the industry you know China is killing it they are global leaders.

I really hope Chinese do make asml machines and reduce price of technology for the world like xaomi and Bbk has done for the world. We guys from countries other than US can still enjoy best of technology at cheaper price due to Chinese technology.

EUV can be achieved by China soon. They have network of peoples in many western countries

What happened to China's particle accelerator approach to create EUV light sources? Wasn't this supposed to be the toughest nut to crack? Optics came in second, but again, I thought China had solved that too. One would think if the above are true, Huawei, or someone in China, would take the baton and run with it.

Here's China's brilliance. PA EUV light source takes time and research no doubt about that. However at the same time they squeeze out the max out of DUV which gives 3nm. They also use a stop gap solution for everything beyond until the Particle Accelerator is ready so smooth (well as smooth as can be with cutting edge chips) progression will take place with the minimal of bumps. When the PA comes out years from now watch out.

I personally feel that Motherland, China will eventually achieve the goal of self reliance & self sufficiency in the Domestic Market & hopefully assisted the rest of the Developing Countries/Nations to better prosperity & promote Peace & Stability around the World if the U$A would stopped being a Bully.
