Nice review. Can I ask if you can set Event Reminders on this band 7 and if they show up in full on the band display (e.g. 6-8 words) even when not connected to the phone via Bluetooth? I'm trying to find out if they are recorded internally in the band and can display without phone support.

Hi Romito, Huawe Band 7 and 6 has no event reminder feature in the watch and even in the Huawei Health app. Only had for Health plan reminders, is that what you are talking about? Hope this help. Thanks

@@mhrneverest price is not much away, on my opinion go buy the band 8 instead, maybe just a 200box away. But its up to your budget better to go with band 7 easy to change the strap. Hope this help. Thanks

Does this band recognize each swim strokes every 25 meters like an Honor band6?

Hi Tanya, Honor Band 6 and Huawei Band 6 is Identical, app, features and HB7 they just added new features. I did not try testing it in actual swimming pool yet. But using "Pool Swim" exercise you can only see and recognise, Distance, Time and Calories. You can just calculate 25 meters into distance instead. Hope this help and it make sense. Hi Mena, no because HB7 have a new lock connector that easy to remove and replace like the old watches. It's deferent from the last Huawei Band 6. Hope this will help you. Thanks

Hi Everyone, FYI you can easily replace the strap for Huawei Band 6 by using your original lock from the original strap. I tried last week and it is work with me, let me know if it's work with you as well. Thanks hope this help!

Hi Catamora, when you are using Huawei Smartphone you will get the photo shutter in the application when you pair it in your android phone but in iPhone the photo shutter is not sported. About the quick reply you can get that when you are using latest OS. Hope this will help. Thanks

Hi Ozzy, band 7 has no setting to set the time manually like the other smart watch. Instead you can just disable it if you dont want to use it in your prefer time. Hope on Band 8 they will add. Thanks and God bless us!

Hi Baby, your band can connect into your watch after pairing. It will automatically connect and give you notification if someone is calling into your smartphone. But that will happen if you turn ON the Notifications into your Huawei Health app using your smartphone. Remember this band has no built in mic and speaker or bluetooth to answer calls. Only notifications even in calling. Hope this help thanks.

Hi Leon, I did not review the AB7, but may be or maybe not. If you can find a compatible app to install game and calculator why not. But on my opinion the watch is not intended for gaming the calculator is fine. Hope this help. Thanks

Hi Marlon, I just saw your message now. Using Huawei Band 6 or 7, to receive messages from your smartphone you should need to Turn On your "Notifications" inside Huawei Health app, under "Devices" you will find the Notifications and choose which app's would you like to receive messages, like Facebook, Messages, Email, Twitter and more that you need it. Hi Chris, they both the same 1.47 inch AMOLED, 194 x 368 pixels with Combine high-resolution 194 x 368 display with 282 ppi PixelDensity like in mobile phones. I think it's just the adjustment on the screen brightness but they both the same good amoled screen brightness in person. Hope this information help you. Thanks and God bless us!

Hi Fan, on my opinion they both BEST for its same functionality, the deference from 7 and 6. 7 Has upgraded the strap lock and added a AOD and improved UI design. If you already have the 6 dont buy the 7. Stay 6 for now and wait for 8. But if you are planing to buy. get 7. Thanks hope this help.

Hi Pol, they updated the strap connector lock. And they added (AOD) always on display feature. And a bit slim body frame than the HB6, and they updated the UI graphics, yup now much more cheaper the HB6 than the HB7. Hope this help. Thanks
