This was the second appearance he made on Singer 2018. You may be interested to know that Hua Hua explained that his song choices every week made up the arc of his "different" life to that point. He was a lonely and bullied child, who didn't fit in and had foibles. The first song of the journey he took us on in 2018, was "Qi Tian" (which was asking why he'd been born to live so differently from others). This "Child" is about his lonely and bullied childhood. "Nunchucks" was next and that was about his rebellious phase. The following weeks, in order, took us on his journey of discovery. Trying to fit in, and failing, then trying to find a way to live alongside others, then his disappointment in himself and others. Ultimately reaching a point of discovery and acceptance of himself with "I am what I am". (Truly beautiful, with lovely words and genuine emotion). I hope you follow that Singer 2018 journey with him, as it let us see his struggles with life, and his acceptance of himself. In 2023 and 2024, Hua Hua is extremely happy. And we love to see him so happy.
