The main vocalist does screaming, rapping and pop vocals. The guitarist does rock vocals. The bassist typically does back up pop vocals; in "We Love Sweets" she got a showcase vocal section.

Hanabie released their first album "Girl's Reform Manifest" in Jan 2021 - it's still my favorite album this year. It doesn't have a bad track on it. Hanabie currently do not have any anime tie-ups, hence their track "Want to TIE-UP". Their album was produced by the drummer from Crystal Lake - they're pretty bad ass too and he's obviously got a knack for spotting, and building on, talent.

Americans hear Japanese: "This gives me anime vibes!" Every. Single. Time.

Compared to all the Japanese girl bands we have reacted to, Hanabie is 100% rocking the “Kawaii” thing which yeah is Anime vibes. It’s super cool though❤️‍🔥

In their defense, many bands do have at least one anime theme song in their discography.

Hanabie are hella good times. So talented, cool and creative. Love your reaction and respect for these ladies! Try Envy for some unique speed growl rapping (and more) or their cover of Ado - Odo where you can see them in a studio type setting do their thing. Also try Gacharic Spin - Mindset! Serious banger from a serious band. You will like.

"Reiwa Matching Generation" is a good choice of music video, but they also released 2 live videos of full songs that you should check out! Yukina especially has to be seen live to fully believe. That little demonic creature in front of that band (even with platform shoes she is the smallest of them), makes heads explode!
