Why the heck are people ok with paying Apple & Samsung $900-$1000 but when Lg or Htc charge $800-$850 it's like "O man it's way too expensive!"WHAT? I am so sick of that.What are Samsung and Apple the only companies allowed to charge over $850 or something.This is a beautiful phone and its LESS than galaxy 9 or Apple 10!

Man, I loved my HTC One M8. Surround sound speakers, best earbuds, great call quality, long battery life. Seriously considering the HTC U12+ even today...

I don't understand why so many other bloggers are critical of the U12+ it's gon be my next phone regardless! I just see HTC floating into obscurity and with Google basically buying the research team, the Pixel will be the only way to get a great phone...they're just not the juggernaut they were once were, or what Samsung is now. But it's still HTC on mine, homie...keep it up Floss!

Same here dude!! I ordered mine a few days ago & got 3 days more on delivery! Iv checked loads of reviews & one of them mentioned he got the same feeling about the U12+ as the legendary HTC One M7 - Which iv been using as a Daily Driver the past 5 Years !!! Yes you read right i Never swapped to any other phone!! Well i bought OnePlus3, but didnt like it as a phone (Cam was good coz its a Sony Sensor..) So that one i gave away for beloved mother! But anyways really hoping this will last 5 years as well! Well see about that wont we.. ;) Also please advice!! The reason to the hate from other reviews MAY be because they are BOUGHT to say shit about HTC!!! Im not sure thats how it works in reality, but please be advised it wouldent be impossible to make them stand out from the competition you know. Enjoy your beast when you decide to go for it mate! ;)

folalde boxing mine was the M7. I loved those Boom sound speakers. If my phone wouldn't have kept over heating o wouldn't have left.

True tho, the Solar Red looks brighter than the Flame Red as well, not sure why HTC chose to go with deeper colors for the whole U12+ line up this time, but it is what it is... wish they had given us more choices

Very nice Flossy! I ordered the U12+ in Ceramic Black which will arrive in 3 days! (The black was 170 USD cheaper than the Blue in my country which's Sweden!) I wanted to mention the Sexxiest caze for this phone @ the moment seems to be the Carbon TUV case by "Poetic". Another great thing except the looks is the price: 10 bucks!! I ordered that too & i suggest you guys do the same !!!

John Cano Im swapping from my HTC One M7 - To the U12+. Thats right, iv been using the M7 as my Daily Driver for the past 5 Years Non-Stop!! - Thats what we call HTC Quality !!! Lets see if the U12+ is up to the same !!! ;)

Cool video! At one point HTC was the top dog but dropped that title to Samsung and Apple and is now somewhere down the line after Pixel, LG, OnePlus, etc. My only issue with HTC is you can't charge top dog prices if you are not top dog. What's even worse is you are charging Note 8 or Apple X prices for OnePlus specs (so to speak) and wireless charging should be a standard feature at this point!!!!!.......Again nice video bro!!!

Watching this on my HTC u11... My HTC is blessed... I love the customization and stock Android.. The sense home I like

I have had htc and LG phones, they were bad ass. My only issue is how well will it be supported. I want regular updates for two years minimum.

Hi, please test if you can modify volume level while the screen is off. I've heard that it doesn't working. Also, I've heard that holding the phone in landscape and press the edges causes randomly volume changes. Touch sensitive buttons could be bad implemented. Also, the battery could be weaker and the screen could not be so bright. Thanks!

Yes ! been waiting for you to check out the HTC U12+ especially the camera on it since I know you only care about real world testings but DxOMark rated it the second highest camera phone behind the P20 Pro . Hope you also get a chance to check out AT&T's LG V35 ThinQ too one day cause right now I'm trying to decided if I wanna go HTC U12+ or the LG V35 ThinQ . Love your videos and your video of the HTC Evo 4G LTE review was why I got that phone and loved that phone so thank you again for making great honest videos.

As some others mention it would be good to know how you find the new buttons - as many other reviewers have said they don't work properly on their unit (though some people say theirs are fine). HTC said they are releasing a software update soon which aims to fix this, but I don't think it has been released yet and not sure if it will work...

Floss, I have a question hopefully I can reach you here. How does this phone, the u12 Plus, Stack Up at this point in the year for 2018? Where would you say it falls in the lineup 1 to 10?

Loving it.. Only thing is.. that purchasers will need undergo a short learning curve to become acquainted with these buttons. You "don't" need to press these all that "hard", apply medium pressure in a smooth and consistent action and the feedback will come. There's not really a delay, it is more of a quick flick in time.

I am curious will you think the same in your full review. Will be waiting for it. PS. Are you in position to actually measure screen brightness on U12+. It's hard to believe it's 300 and some nits (306 to 389 top).

Buy a Spigen case if you're getting a U11 or U12+. Heck I paid an extra $20 for 2 tempered glass screen protectors and the case total.
