@@andrewjamrozik5223 the Ranger is consistently the 2nd and sometimes best selling car in Australia. Dual cab utes also have the highest resale value out of almost every car on the road with the Tickford Rangers being even better. No reason to suggest the Sportscat would be any different.

What? no V8 for that money. Has the DPF been fixed?

Plenty of scope when it comes to horse power from the 3.2L puma 5 cylinder, and still gets a factory warranty .As for the ute not so much, to be fair the Holden has had a much nicer styling done around the vehicle.

I just sold my wildtrak now have Colorado z71 ,let me tell u the wildtrak has waaaay more turbo lag than the holden both good cars but

The tickford power pack is actually 187kw and 590nm. Not sure where you got those stats from.

Ha ha still have the first photo's of the tickford Ranger used as a prototype and trust me it has got none of the extra's they were thinking of putting on ,like the light bar and the chrome roll bar at the rear tray and also other aspects which should be options ?

Can these be shipped too the USA

So you compare 2 Utes with 20k difference? How is that apples to apples

I would go as far as saying they should keep the ss and xr's. But America needed to fix there automotive industries and we took it like little bitches. Everyone's going to be driving these types of Ute's and soon mustangs and camaros.

The sportscat Colorado is much nicer vehicle than the tickford ranger...those bolt on flares look like rubbish and the interior is still crap.... At least HSV gave the Colorado some AP Racing brakes and some amazing supashock remote reservoir suspension. If I had to had over my hard earned on one of these, it would be the HSV hands down!

If they wanted to do something cool they should have got rwd models lowered them a little then done more to the performance and handling... Would rather have a purpose built ute for the streets than a poser truck

The chevy looks very aerodynamic and the Ford looks more monster truck ish. I like them both but for me it would most definitely be the hsv. You just can't beat the engines in those things

HSV and Holden are silly. Why don't they use the 300hp v6 that's in colorados overseas?

Why would you use an engine that would make it too front heavy when ford has the Ecoboost V6 to use like it does in the F150 Raptor? If tickford were smart they would import and use it and put out a similar off road spec to fords ranger raptor that will only have a 2L TD engine.

Once again the Colorado is a failure, they had a shot at taking the dual cab market by the balls with this HSV but instead.... a big nothing. My feeling is that these so called 'offroad' versions of the utes are a fad. The American Raptor is successful because of it's legitimacy, can't say the same for these, and I include the Hilux
