HSD JETS F-16 (TURBINE jet engine IN an EPO FOAM JET !)
2-3 years ago you wouldn't have dreamed that someone would be mad enough to put a micro jet engine inside of an airframe made from EPO foam...but that's exactly what HSD Jets have done! And it works as Colin demonstrates. Colin took delivery of the HSD F-16 direct from the factory (without the PNP engine option) for a review in RCJI Magazine and fitted his own Kingtech K70. A little over the recommended engine size but Colin Strauss gave this combination the thumbs up after tinkering with the ECU and receiver battery placement to get a good CG.

Very impressive! I must admit, everytime Colin put her into a hard G turn, I held my breath waiting for the "foam explosion".....great job, good match!
Scale wise and thrust to weight Wise that is one of the most realistic and beautiful jets I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing

That is really cool, wonder what prepping he had to do to exhaust the hot gases and not catch the foam on fire or prevent it from melting?

BVM sells a 1/6 composite F-16(jetlegend) that is plug and play. Just add engine, Rx and batteries for $7,000. This HSD is about a 1/7 or 1/8 foam plug and play for $1400.00

Are there any f35 models flying, just wondered? As someone else on this channel suggested first, try watching this at 0.75 speed. It’s startlingly real scale looking
