Respected Doctor, Namaskaar. Thanks for your wonderful video. I have a doubt on behalf of my friend who is taking care of his 89 years old mother. Three years back when she had some breathing difficulty and was admitted in a hospital, her heart ECHO mentioned "Trace pericardial effusion" and that her LVEF was 78%. There were no significant abnormalities in heart valves and there was no left ventricular hypertrophy. Four months after this a Chest CT Scan was taken; according to this, mentioned that her lung fields are clear but it mentioned "mild cardiomegaly". By God's Grace, her breathing problem got completely cured and her blood Oxygen level measured using pulse oximeter, has always been 97% or 97%. My friend is however worried about his mother's "trace pericardial effusion". Recently when he consulted a doctor, the doctor told him that she doesn't have any problem and trace pericardial effusion is nothing to worry about. Except hypertension (for which she is taking medicine), she doesn't have any problems such as breathing difficulty. However my friend is worried about his mother's LVEF of 78%, trace pericardial effusion and mild cardiomegaly. Are these three serious issues? I would be extremely grateful if you can kindly let me know. Best regards.
