HQ Lost Boys Soundtrack: Lost in the Shadows - Lou Gramm (Original Music Video)

Музыка

This is an original video edit for Lou Gramm's 'Lost in the Shadows' from the soundtrack of the 1987 Joel Schumacher film 'The Lost Boys'. This version of Lost in the Shadows features an original
SafeAndTheGang video edit using awesome footage from the classic Warner Bros. film.
Lost in the Shadows Lyrics:
Say hello to the night
Lost in the shadows
Say hello to the night
Lost in the loneliness
Say hello to the night
Lost in the shadows
No one knows
I can't wait, I can't wait, no
When I see little lights in the shadows
One must hide when the sun gets higher
I don't know what this madness means
Here comes the night
The bedroom in shadows
Candlelights
I don't know where it's coming from
But I, I keep moving on
Till the darkest thought makes me want to try these wings
Say hello to the night
Lost in the shadows
Say hello to the night
Lost in the loneliness
Say hello to the night
Lost in the shadows
No one knows
Loneliness pours over you
Emptiness can pull you through
Did you go to sleep with the light on?
I can't wait for this feeling to free me
Wind blows hard, but it doesn't matter
'Cause when the sun goes down
Nothing else matters
The line is where the night lies
I will wait outside her window tonight
Say hello to the night
Lost in the shadows
Say hello to the night
Lost in the loneliness
Say hello to the night
Lost in the shadows
No one knows
Loneliness pours over you
Emptiness can pull you through
Did you go to sleep with the light on?
I can't wait for this feeling to free me
Say hello to the night
Lost in the shadows
Say hello to the night
Lost in the loneliness
Say hello to the night
Lost in the shadows
No one knows

elchamber there was the Swedish "Let the Right One In", and then there was the Americanized version "Let Me In". I enjoyed both, but the original (the Swedish movie) was the best.

Question to whomever still feels that cultural connection to our 80s Which movie together or even moreso than the lost boys represents The 80s? Though I love this movie( The Lost Boys) much more, perhaps THE BREAKFAST CLUB enscapulates the 80s even more!? How say you, commentor of the future?

*Gasp*, no way! You have to give credit where credit is due and say Marko (Alex Winter) by far had the best mullet, he put all of us Aussie bogans to shame and that's saying something, no one does a mullet like our country. Marko's was magnificent, those short curls on top and all that long hair halfway down his back. Dare I admit that 19 yrs later you will still find that Aussie bogan = mullet. Err, yes, you do still see them. Like you still see the girl versions all sporting muffin top jeans and the "Limahl" look (aka bleached blonde with black underneath). When they breed it usually produces a child with clippered hair and rats tail, fascinating really. But to be fair Kiefer did have a killer one and I had to educate my eldest daughter (now 17) when she was like all girls several years ago and thought Edward/Twilight was divine. She now knows better, all 3 of my girls (the boy is 2 so can't appreciate the fabulousness yet. He has always been a music freak though and loves the soundtrack, never too early to start a proper education is it?) now love the movie after I said "Pfft, that's not a vampire, just a wet lettuce leaf. THIS is a vampire" and one airing of Kiefer and The Lost Boys meant Twilight is now nothing but a "Wtf was wrong with me?!" distant memory.

tandraig best line of the movie, you always know a true Lost Boys fan by what their quote is (which you clearly know so high five for Grandpa ;- ) ) and is of course - "Only thing I could never stomach about Santa Carla....too many damn vampires". I love how it's now added to the original clip of Cry Little Sister, such a bloody brilliant cult movie (and wtf with the sequels? Can't believe they messed with that!) and hell, every female for years lusted after Kiefer. But Grandpa at the end was always the true legend :- )

When I was a kid in 1993 I went to spend a few weeks with my cool, older cousin in Poland. She listened to Depeche Mode and made me watch Lost Boys. Even the cool kids in the eastern bloc loved it haha. That was my real introduction to movies and music.

The 1980's pretty much rooted my love for vampire film and lore. The Lost Boys had to be of the most watched over all the films that I have fond memories of. Not only films, but writer's alike. I gotta hand it to both Stephen King and Anne Rice for painting worlds within pages of novels that hadn't yet been seen on film. I love Salem's Lot and still to this day I love to randomly select a book from Rice's vampire chronicles to pass the time away.
